When poor old 'Abigail' ,my ancient Powerbook 145, was consigned to eco heaven I really missed her so much , but was unable to afford a new Mac. I inquired about refurbished Apple computers and was told they were always snapped up fast. However, an i pad 1 was due to be delivered and since that was within my price range I decided to go for it.
Although it took me a bit of time to set it up, I am now really pleased with it. It comes with a six-month guarantee and is adjusted to factory settings. I was even more delighted when I discovered it had worldwide tracking in case it gets lost or stolen. With the Apple you have no spam e-mails which I appreciate. Bobby Mitchell e-mailed the advice and help I required with a few initial technical hitches. With rapid changes in technology, refurbished equipment is the way to afford what you want.
