We had french doors installed. The first set were installed badly, in a hurry, with many faults, and had to be completely removed and discarded. The second set required several visits from different people to put matters right, each picking up faults in the work of the previous person. At the end we have an almost acceptable product. There are some faults, but you lose the will to complain.

Cherwell Windows have, over the course of several months, replaced all the windows in my house. The products are excellent, fitters polite and professional. My only gripe is that some of the finer details need attention (e.g. some plastering now starting to crack, caulking a little shoddy), nothing major but irritating nonetheless. I have re-plastered and re-done the caulking but given the work fairly recent I don't think I should have had to do this. One of the window boards was slightly damaged but this was promptly re-placed without any hassle. Overall recommended.

Second time we have used Cherwell Windows for installation of Evolution windows and doors. Installation took longer than anticipated ( one week ) and we had a few problems with some windows - one faulty unit and loose glazing bars. Cherwell Windows were extremely helpful with the resolution of these problems.

My dealings with Cherwell were efficient and professional. I had my doubts about wood look sashes in my Victorian property but the result was amazing and you can barely tell that that they are not real wood. Very impressive. The installation was quick and tidiy and the lead time reasonable. They came back to do some finishing touches at my request and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommended. You definitely get what you pay for.
