Coast2Coast was absolutely the worst company of any kind that I have worked with. They suck you in as a customer by giving you a low quote and then increase the price when the movers have arrived at your house and you don’t have a choice. In our move they demanded $4,730 more or they wouldn’t pack and move my household items. When they arrived near my home on the delivery end the drives started he couldn’t make the turn into our location and we were forced to pay $1,200 in cash to have our goods put into a U-Haul truck and wait an extended time to have to goods brought to our house The local movers they hired to move the good and deliver them to our house didn’t inventory the items and have sign off in each box. They also refused to put together 2 tables and a bed and suddenly said they had to leave even though they hadn’t finished the job. We provided Coast2Coast with our “First delivery date” weeks ahead of the date and we were told that we would receive an e-Mail NLT 5 days before the date to give us a status on the delivery. They didn’t contact us 5 days before or 4 days before or 3 days before. When I reached out to the by e-Mail and phone they didn’t answer ANY of my inquiries. Please save yourself a lot of headaches and additional costs if you are planning a long distance move. This company may be alright for a local move but based on our horrible experience I highly recommend that you look elsewhere if your doing a long distance move.
