"Absolute shambles.."

Absolute shambles... fittimg went wrong 1 day over. So night without heating.. then temp suppy for 4 days.. then a fault which stopped heating functioning with a faulty part. After trying to get fixed numerous times i did it myself and assured theyd refund on part... guess what no refund weeks later... absolute worst company ever dealt with..shocking.. avoid avoid

Its great to see some equality in a technical field. Our technician was excellent, she arrived promptly (I missed the door bell the first time, but she came straight back after 10 minutes). She was helpful, sorted out the issue, nothing was too much trouble.

Absolutely awful. They installed our boiler. The pipe they were meant to come back and sort back in march. Of course didn't cause any issues going into the warmer weather. Now been without heating and hot water for over a month. Everytime I ring they say I'll get a call back which never happens. Have now reported to gassafe. Have two children under the age of 4 aswell. Ideal even came out as they refused to come before they'd been and they've said the people who installed it need to come and sort the pipe. Awful company

"Amazing!"

It’s not often I write a review but decided the service from 0800 Repair Gas was amazing and worthy of 5 stars.
My 86 year old partially sighted mothers boiler had broken down completely and I spent over a week trying to get her a new one on the government grants scheme. I must have rung over 40 different major energy companies, government schemes, council officials and plumbers explaining she was without proper heating or hot water and she was due to one on the eco scheme, with the best one (EON) offering to come down in 10 weeks time and the others not bothered at all. By accident I came across 0800 Repair Gas and after ringing them, they rearranged appointments and had someone come down to assess the boiler the following morning. They sorted the grant and arranged for a new boiler to be fitted and the heating system cleaned out all within just over a week. The work was carried out quickly, professionally and to a very high standard. I cannot even begin to thank this company enough for all they did and in such a short space of time from my initial call.
Special mentions to Paul in the office, Johnathon, Lauren and the plumber, Martin Bell who worked non stop to fit the boiler and make sure everything was finished on time. So Grateful to you all.

5 star service for the boiler fitters. Very helpful friendly service.
Then theres the after service which is disgusting!
Little to no support to anyone outside of the Northeast. Why this company fits boilers outside this area is baffling. On two occasions since fitted I've had problems, the first time I was left without heating & hot water from the Thursday until the following Tuesday before assistance was offered. I think then the only reason I got help was because a filter I had paid for had not been fitted.
Then more problems with the thermostat not communicating with the boiler has left me without heating again over the coldest weekend. This time my email & emergency call haven't even been acknowledged. Luckily a friend sorted out the problem for me.
If you're thinking of using this company I’d say think again.
