I had inherited several thousand colour slides from my late father, many of which were 60 years old, but being Kodachrome the definition and colour saturation were still near perfect. I was nervous about sending them to an unknown company as the slides were priceless in terms of a family history. Having read some reviews, I edited the collection and sent 600 slides to Vintage Photo Lab. They were sent just before Christmas, and incredibly I received scanned images in time for the festive season. Staff clearly went out of their way to fulfil my order and the quality of the scanned images was excellent. A particular mention to Cheyenne who kept me up to date with regular emails, and helpfully sorted out a minor glitch which was down to me. I will certainly use this company again and would recommend them to anyone, particularly those, who like me, have precious memories that need considerate and careful handling and scanning. Service was superb from the outset, and the professional collection and delivery service, with clear and simple instructions allayed my fears of treasured memories being lost or damaged.

My husband turns 60 this month and so I wanted to create a 'This Is Your Life' book of all our memories: 21 years together this year! The challenge was that many of these memories: over 1,000 photographs, were in old flip photo albums. So after removing them, sorting them and packaging them up we shipped them to Vintage Photo Lab. The level of personal service is incredible: from the moment you visit the website to get a quote they reach out to you and walk you through every step of their really easy process: have the photos collected or drop them off at a UPS collection point; they get scanned; you get all your files in digital high quality ready to download; the originals get returned to you via UPS. A special shout out to Cheyenne who stayed in touch throughout - even checking that the photos were returned safely! It is also really good value for money because you can't put a price on having your memories brought back to life.

I'm not even sure that a price can be placed on the recovery of memories that you thought were lost. I sent a collection of photos to Vintage Photo Lab some of which were more than 50 years old, and all of mixed size and quality. My expectations of the results weren't high as many of them were not in a great state. But I was surprised that they were all at least as good as the original and finally I can have them in my digital collection. The logistics were well worked out and I had no problems at all from start to finish, in fact the opposite - all my email exchanges with the staff there were positive and helpful. It's worth talking to them if your requirements don't quite 'fit' their offering as far as numbers/price goes as you'll find they actually want to help you out. It's a great service - I'll be back to them as soon as I can sort out more of our old photos. Thanks to all at Vintage Photo Lab - keep up the great work!
