"A great company"

A first self build was always going to be stressful and once we’d decided on SIP construction, we found Ecologic.
Although not the cheapest quote we thought if it’s going to be stressful, let’s do it with a nice bunch of people. They and their building team have helped us on our way to creating our perfect home.
It has already created interest from neighbours, passers by and even local council.
Highly recommend speaking to them, at least, from the outset.

I found the company great to work with from the start and responsive to any of my questions. As a project manager I found the process was smooth, following an initial quote we had a site meeting to discuss details together with timeframe for delivery. Changes were made to the plans, approved then we were given a delivery date.
We installed the ground screws as per the plan provided.
The kit arrived onsite on the day promised together with a visit from Arthur the production manager to help us understand the plans and construction method.
3 days to get the structure built with a team of 3. On Day 4 we wrapped the walls and put the roof membrane on, giving us a water tight building.

"First time user of SIP’s"

First time I’ve used SIP panels for a project. I wanted supply only rather than having them cut ready for installation. Found dealing with this company was easy. They were very helpful in giving me advice. I picked up the panels myself rather than had them delivered as I live fairly close by. I was given a tour of the factory and the staff seemed proud of the product. As I cut the panels to size myself there was obviously some off cuts left over. I was able to take these back for recycling which is far better than throwing them into landfill. I would certainly have no issues using this company again. I’m sure this method of construction will become more popular in the future due to the thermal values you are able to achieve, together with the speed of build. I think in hindsight I would get the panels cut by the company as carrying this out on site does take a while. As a relatively small company with what at the moment (in the UK at least) is a fairly niche product, I wish them all the best in the future. They are providing a product that can reduce heating costs within a building together with speed of construction which can only be a good thing.

"A breath of fresh air"

As a surveyor and contractor in the building industry i know how hard it is to provide a complete service from the start to the end. Ecologic did just that for my new home, from quote stage to design to sign off to delivery, installation and handover. All excellent.

Very nice people to deal with all round and professional. I was made very welcome when i visited their workshop and one of their sites as part of my due diligence. I hadn't worked with SIPS before but recommend both this company and system. I am confident if any issues did crop up they would be dealt with accordingly. Thank you Ecologic. Al Tweedie

This review comes embarrassingly late (just two years after the build!), but this means that I can say that as well as being really happy with both the product and the support that I received, I'm able to say that the building performs really well too. I built a boiler/utility room (myself!) in my garden and Pete and the whole team were brilliant from start to finish - very patient and very helpful to a novice like me. I got loads of help with the design and then advice on the build after the panels had arrived. I don't hesitate to recommend Ecologic to anyone. Thanks guys.

"Great choice working with Ecologic"

Great choice working with Ecologic, as a company we have worked with many prefabricated/ timber frame systems. Having seen a few SIPS structures being constructed over the last few years thought would be great system for my own property.

The panels have been incorporated into an extensive refurbishment to form a new first floor. Ecologic have planned and managed every step seamlessly.

Ecologic have been great to deal with from start to finish with us on our 4 bed 370sqm SIPs new build house. Lots of work with us and our architect to take his design forward with SIPs as the build system - great work by Rich and Sarah. And with Arthur helping out and liaising with our builder who was new to SIPs. "I am delighted with the SIP panels"

I am delighted with the SIP panels. The registration of the two outer OSB sheets line up very well, as this has been a problem that I have had with other suppliers. The black foam you guys use is a lot easier to cut using a saw with very little mess compared to the white foam I cut in the past. Also, I use a hot knife to rebate my panels and again the black foam cuts a lot easier than the white foam. All in all, I am very happy with the whole service you guys offer and I will hopefully be in touch soon with a new order.
