"Great end-to-end service"

Ecologic provided a great service throughout the design, manufacture and build of a garden room. The installation was completed very efficiently in line with an agreed timetable and they provided helpful advice along the way, assisting with finding suppliers of foundations, cladding and roofing. "Brilliant Team"

Wild Escapes is a new business, however I have been building traditional timber frames for many years and have always considered the idea of SIPS. My hesitation with SIPS has always been finding a team that understand my particular requirements, the system Ecologic uses is fantastic but its only half the story, it’s the time care and skill of the designers and installers that allows them to deliver an accurate and complete SIP’s structure.

It has been an absolute pleasure to find and work with the team at Ecologic, not only has the system saved a huge amount of time it has also saved me money on the development. The plumbers and the electricians are able to face fix pipes and wire directly to the panels, which has accelerated the build, the panels are simply ready for battening and cladding, no need for cutting any insulation. The other huge advantage for me with the system is the lack of mess, because the panels are prefabricated at Ecologic’s yard they are delivered and assembled onsite, leaving the site tidy and removing the need for the endless train of skips that sites often have. The ability to build a watertight structure in a matter of days, gives great peace of mind when the weather turns.

From a sustainability point of view, the structure is extremely thermally efficient and the reduction of off cuts and fixings from a normal timber framer has a big impact on the environmental side of things.

I will definitely use Ecologic again and look forward to building a strong working relationship over the coming years.

I cannot describe how pleased I am with the work carried out by Ecologic to create a Hut that will last for years. On time and on budget with a sense of care that is beyond question. They were all a delight to work with and didn’t laugh when I kept turning up to watch progress. The detail of the finish never ceases to amaze. Two years on now and I have nothing negative to say except that I wish I could go through the whole experience again.

"My old beach hut was so ancient"

My old beach hut was so ancient, it leaked when it rained and had a stream of fresh (but cold) air through the gaps in the floor. I paid for my new beach hut with the lump sum part of my NHS pension, so I had an exact sum, but no more. I made this clear to Pete at our first meeting. He and his team did everything to make sure it came in on price. Despite the budget restrictions, the result was spectacular. It looks a million dollars and it’s so warm and dry!

Ecologic recently replaced the existing balustrade and barge boardS on our hut, both of which which were weather damaged. They completed the balustrade just before lockdown prevented them carrying on with the barge boards, but they resumed the work as soon as they were permitted. I found them to be very professional and attentive throughout the process and the work was carried out to a high standard. They also kindly corrected a buckling in the solar roof tiles which I belatedly noticed when I inspected the other work. Lovely people to deal with!

"Happy Hutties."

For our new hut Pete and his team were faced for the first time with the new building regulations for beach huts on Mudeford Sandbank just as construction was about to start. They adapted to these very quickly and delivered on time. All told, a very positive and happy experience. We are delighted with the workmanship and can-do attitude of the whole team. We look forward to many happy years as hutties, for us and succeeding generations.

The team I’ve been very helpful over the last 5 y with some renovation work and changes to our hut. Good ideas have improved the interior no end. We have a few more renovations planned with Pete and the team for next winter.

"18 months ago they built a very good…"

18 months ago they built a very good replacement Beach Hut 15ft x 10ft with an upstairs 4 beds and storage below. Gas cooker / toilet / caravan heater / hot water for the sink. HArd wood doors and windows. After several storms this winter we went down having not seen inside for many months, dreading the amount of sand and dust inside. we opened the door, THERE was NONE.
Thank you for what I call now a second home.
