As an outsource financial service I believe there is a room to improve the overall level of service by increasing the sense of ownership and proactivity which most outsourced companies lack. For example, having monthly meeting with higher management to present recommendations on who to improve their books and having an account manager whose job is to look after the clients and their requirements.
