Dominic was recommended to us when we were in the process of purchasing our new home. Because of the age of the property (1873) and the timeline of when it was converted he recommended we have a Level 3 Building Survey Report conducted. We received a concise, precise 132 page document that was very easy to read. The report had an index with easy to go to sections, photos and colour coded condition ratings which helped us conclude any risks and problems in order of severity. This was a huge help when organising a ‘to do’ list for when we moved in.

I chose Dominic based on his reviews and the fact that he was located fairly close to the property that I was seeking to purchase and would therefore have a sound knowledge of the area. Dominic exceeded my expectations, working over the weekend to ensure prompt delivery of the report. The report itself was very detailed with photographs, ratings, issues highlighted and recommendations - all in a language understandable to the layman (I have had surveys in the past that were totally incomprehensible). Dominic gladly spent time on the telephone discussing the report and answering my many queries. From this I was able to draw up a list of works needed, in priority, obtain quotes and make an informed decision. Sadly the purchase did not come to fruition. The fact that the vendors were also impressed with Dominic’s knowledge, professionalism and curtesy speaks volumes. I would not hesitate to recommend Dominic and will certainly seek his services should our property search take us back to Somerset.
