Dominic Lowther has completed surveys on two properties for us and we have been impressed by his professionalism, expertise and knowledge. He was happy to answer any questions we had. Dominic contacted us promptly and we had the survey five days after his visit. We would strongly recommend him for house surveys.

Dominic carried out a building survey on a property we were looking to purchase. He called me from the house having found a serious issue fairly early on and produced a very detailed 140 page report. In the end we didn't proceed with the purchase due to various problems but it was well worth getting the survey done as it avoided very expensive costs had we proceeded. Highly recommended.

Really easy to follow survery, in plain English which has helped me with the property purchase I am currently going through.

Dominic advised on a couple of points before I engaged his services which other surveryors did not identify or query. His fee was slightly higher than other quotes I received but I was happy to pay this due to his attention to points I had not considered when I requested an initial quote.

Dominic was recommended to us by an estate agent during our property purchase, he was one of a handful that the agent provided and I researched each of them. I made contact with Dominic by phone and explained what we were looking for, he explained how he worked and answered a number of questions we already had on the property, which is a 1930's build and had been in the same ownership for over 40 years. Dominic was very personable and came across as very knowledgeable and was able to explain technical detail in an understandable way. We were not disappointed, our survey report was extremely thorough, Dominic presented his findings in a factual way along with a rating and recommendations. The report content and layout was comprehensive and enabled us to quickly identify and focus on the key issues and make informed decisions. Having digested our report we requested a call to discuss some of the points raised in the survey, Dominic didn't hesitate and we talked for over an hour. He provided good guidance and shared some web sites to find registered engineers to undertake inspections. We have not completed our purchase but feel confident that we have a great survey to help us make the right decisions. The survey may have been a little more expensive than we had expected to pay BUT it was certainly worth it. I would not hesitate to engage Dominic's services again or recommend him to others.

Dominic carried out a Building survey for us which came back promptly and contained a huge amount of detail, way more than we expected which enabled us to make a well informed decision on purchasing our new family home. He was also willing to discuss a few areas that cropped up in the report in more detail when we asked further questions later on.
