My Helpmate-accountant-tax preparer is D Smith. Not that my previous tax preparers at Greenback were not all excellent, but D really knows me and my needs and understands my situation (I live in Costa Rica). This year she caught on to the fact that I was not coming forth with my usual tax prep information so she knew that I would not only miss the mid-year filing date, but that I would probably miss the Oct one as well, so she went ahead and obtained the authorizations I might (and did) need. She knows which question she needs to ask me every time. I will continue to swear by (and not at) Greenback for my US tax prep assistance. Keep looking for great people like D. While the website is ok and intuitive, the entire experience sits with the advisor.
The first one assigned to my case left the company shortly after but Rijo took over soon. He has a lot of experience with US taxes amd guides me patiantly through the entire process.
It was a relativelly painless process, well as painless as it can get doing taxes.

Will use them again next year.
