I’ve been using Greenback for roughly 8 years now and have used several of their staff. Without exception they are all first class. Knowledgeable, communicative, task focused and efficient. For the price, they offer great service.

I was relieved to find such an abundance of clear information on Greenback's site. Already, I knew I was dealing with professionals. Another reason I chose to do my Streamlined Tax Amnesty for expats with them, is that they have a physical office in the US.
But it was my accountant, Sukrit Ghosh, who made this such a great experience. His clarity and enormous patience meant that I understood every detail of what I was doing. I feel completely confident sending in my taxes, after so many years of not being sure. Thanks again!!!

She listened to my concerns and coordinated the preparation of my US Return so that I could easily file my German tax Return. She was responsive to my e-mails and scheduled our meetings promptly. I appreciated her personal attention and her attention to detail. Hopefully now that I have filed out the questionnaire future years will be easier. UPDATE 2024 Greenback are still doing a great job!
I see my previous review was in 2019 so thought it would be helpful to those considering going with Greenback. My accountant, Ms G, has done a brilliant job with both my US federal returns and my CA state return. I have had contact with others within the company; all are responsive and helpful but G has been an invaluable help, frequently going above and beyond her basic role to assure me or to dig a bit deeper to find the important records needed. US citizens living abroad have a heavy load of paperwork to accomplish compliance with both the government of their adopted home as well as the US - and sometimes - state requirements to file a return. Couldn't do it without my Greenback champion. Thanks!
