I used Compare My Move to arrange the transfer a limited number of items from one address to another, approximately 10 mins apart.

I originally booked with a firm who quoted me £417.00. I then tried Compare My Move and discovered a firm called Bemove. Cosmin suggested I would be better off using his hourly service £90 per hour and a min charge of two hours. I took his advice.

The two guys who attended were friendly, polite, fast and efficient and completed the move in under to hours. This included wrapping a fragile glass cabinet and a five seater in protective wrapping. The move cost me £180. A total saving of £237.00.

I would recommend using the site.

Fair quote per hour so if we were ready it would be less than the other quote. Which we were and they arrived got straight on with move there and the other end meaning we save £150. So polite always checked where we wanted our stuff nothing too hard for them!

I was contacted by a Sales Executive to subscribe to their lead generation service for my business and eventually opened an account with them only to find a few hours later that the account had been closed without any explanation or communication. After many attempts to speak with someone, I finally received a call back from a Sales Manager, offering a very flimsy excuse as to why the account had been closed, stating that the Sales Executive who originally contacted me hadn't undertaken his initial due diligence to determine whether my business was eligible to become a partner.
My initial impression, judging from the huge amount of background noise during my conversation, is that this outfit appears to be a 'boiler room' type call centre, who are trying to sign up as many potential businesses as possible.
It seems that the leads they generate appear to be distributed to more than one partner at the same time and so are not exclusive, which is far from ideal from my perspective.
In my experience, I can hardly rate this Company as either professional or reliable.

As others have said. This is not a comparison website, it is a lead generator for service providers.

I was looking for instant, online quotes for conveyance and surveyors. But I am being spammed with calls and emails from sales people.


In response to the rubbish, the company have replied with, I went through great difficulty to find the email address they have shared and I requested deletion of my data on the same day that I used this service.
It says a lot about this business that they have replied to their Trustpilot review before deleting my data or replying to my email.


When you ask them to remove you data, they say
"Your request for a quote has been cancelled, and the 4 verified partners we have matched with you have been instructed to no longer follow up on your request by phone or email"

But IT IS NOT THR VERIFIED PARTNERS who spam email, text and call. Smaller surveyot businesses are still spamming me and I can only assume CompareMyMove does not have the ability or the desire to prevent this.

Save yourself a lot of hassle and don't use this company

We were left in a bit of a panic when the removal firm we thought we'd booked told us they'd given our slot to someone else. Found Compare My Move via a Google search and completed the online query form. I had about 4 calls in the following minutes. It was a bit overwhelming having so many calls at once but thats because we were slightly panicking as our move date was a week away. But as a result if those calls we found a decent firm through this process.

Really easy way to get quotes from several providers. Once I had a few I had what I needed and no more. Companies still trying to contact you a lot after so would be good if there then was a way to notify them all at once, that no further quotes needed, rather than having to respond to them all individually to stop the calls and emails. I went with TDS in the end and they were very good.

Used comparemymove for quotes for conveyancing and survey.

While the surveyors seem genuine, the conveyancer calls from people on mobiles with no company ID on the line or company name given on the call is outrageous. Am inundated. I had a couple of genuine calls and email quotes are OK. My phone is thankfully now marking these calls as spam. One called 3 times in 3 hours.

The latest this morning had someone with digital transcriber I could hear in the background.

Can conveyancing be done by companies outside the UK?
