"Cancelled by them"

I ordered in the Boxing Day sale at 7am.
They cancelled my order 27th at 10am. Apparently at my request. I go back in to reorder and they have no stock left.
Disgusted.
I like their products but customer service shocking.

"Terrible Experience"

I hate having to write this review but if you have an issue with your cards, delivery etc.... dont bother contacting customer service as its non-existent! I have been overcharged for cards I did not receive and trying to get replacements or a refund is impossible! Shame because their cards are beautiful and I buy them every year (or I did). Cheap cards in future I think might not be as nice but will at least be what I ordered!

"VERY DISAPPOINTED…"

I orderd Christmas Cards and a few birthday cards. They arrived but I hadnr been sent the Christmas cards I had ordered. I phoned and was told they would be replaced. Nothing arrived, so I phoned again. The young lady could not find any information and went into the packing dept, while I was on hold. She told me they were on their way. Again days later nothing had arrived so I phoned and was promised they would send the cards again first class post. They arrived next day as promised. The original replacements have never arrived. In fact I doubt if they were ever sent. Am very disappointed with the way I was treated. I have bought cards before from Whittlefish without problems. This latest debacle has put me completely off using them again.

"Appalling customer service"

Okay, so let’s start with the positive, we have a house full of Whistlefish pictures and love all of them, they are great prints and have all been really well made.
However, we bought four from the shop in St Ives back in March 2023 and, due to house renovations, didn’t come to hang them until June.
We obviously kept them in the original packaging and carrier to keep them safe and, on opening them, one of the frames had come away at two of the corners … Not fallen apart, just a slight gap.
We contacted Whistlefish to arrange a repair of return, which we are fully entitled to under consumer law, and fully expected the team to sort this out, given our previous experience of the company.
However, not only have they refused any assistance whatsoever with this, they have accused us of dropping the frame and causing the damage, which is both offensive and clearly absurd as the frames are totally unmarked.
They are also completely oblivious of their obligations to consumer statutory rights claiming that their policy clearly states that all frames should be unwrapped and inspected in the shop or within 48 hours and any further claims will not be honoured.
So, we are now pursuing full refund and costs through the small claims process for what would probably have been 10 minutes work for one of their team to remedy.
It is said that you should judge a company not by when things go wrong (which they do) but by how they respond and, in this case, their response has been utterly appalling, like a few other reviews I have now seen.
So, the bottom line is this, they sell great pictures in nice frames and 90% of the time you’ll be really pleased but, if you’re one of the unlucky 10%, you’ll REALLY wish you went elsewhere.
Buyer beware.

The cards I ordered were lovely, excellent quality and beautifully packed. Like the company ethos and will order again. Took longer to arrive than expected but worth the wait!

I love the product, I have ordered several times. Alas this time there was a problem and I needed to speak to customer service. This experience totally let the company down. I gave up, took a loss of about £5.which isn't a major thing but I wo t be using them again purely for the lack of customer service. She was disinterested a d vague to the point of rudeness. Big shame.

"wonderful Whistlefish"

I first came across this wonderful company in Newquay in one of their stores. The products and shopping experience feel very high end but prices are an absolute steal! I have now completed and received my first online order and I’m really happy with all the cards. I picked 11 for £10, special offer, which is a great deal. They arrived in beautiful packaging that was an artwork in itself and I was suitably impressed that they do not use plastic! Whistlefish are just a gem of a company. I’m going to use them all the time now to bulk buy my cards for the year.
