Our conveyancer was Jo Powell and I must say, we couldn't have done it without her! We had two houses to sell and one to buy which at first seemed like it was going to be mind field but she made the whole process very easy for us! Would definitely recommend!

"Incompetent"

Took 10 months to complete a no chain purchase of the property I live in. They have an app that they don't use, and they employ staff who you constantly have to chase with zero people skills. Constantly tell you what they cant do (pretty much anything) as opposed to what they can do to help. During my conveyancing they let a mortgage offer and a valuation lapse / expire, which left me £thousands out of pocket. Awful service.

Where to begin? The solicitor we dealt with (Francesca O'Brien), was truly terrible. Poor communication, combined with a haughty, terrible attitude and devoid of people skills.

Arrogance is something I can accept a little from people who are good at their jobs, but the weird mix of arrogance and incompetence is a difficult one to take.

Save yourself the time you could waste and the heartache by using literally anyone else.

Absolutely useless solicitors took nearly 8 months to complete the sale process, very rude staff and the solicitor the same I have been told not to contact them otherwise they will charge me extra money to answer the phone calls speaking with the owner was no help.

I had to send them the same document every other week, as they never bother to look their previous emails to see if they have received them already.

I have used a few solicitors firms in the past 20 years. This firm is by far the worst! Unfortunately I made a mistake to use this firm to deal with my house sell because my agent recommended them (for a referral fee). I trusted my agent as he did a good job to sell my house. Anyway, now I don’t even have any energy and patience left to describe how bad these people are! They have seriously wasted my time, money and patience. This is just a warning to all people who want to sell or buy properties, do not use them. They are incompetent with what they do! They are really bad! They hate their jobs! They are rude; don’t pick up phones, don’t respond to emails for days; tell lies about work they have not done. They don’t respond to buyers’ solicitors for days either. I don’t understand how it is even possible these people and this firm is still in the business. These so called
solicitors are doing serious harm than good. They should do everybody a favour by going out of the business so not to put many more people into desperation. Shame on them! Avoid avoid avoid

"AVOID AT ALL COSTS"

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. It took this bunch of clowns from 19th April to 1st September to complete a non chain sale. Unprofessional, uncommunicative, do not respond to emails or phone calls. Weeks would go by with non responses to emails. No-one is that busy. Frankly, if I ran my business the way they do, I'd have gone out of business a long time ago. It needs a negative star to communicate how we feel about this company. Terrible

I wouldn’t say it went smooth. Communication wasn’t always great and I and my estate agent had to chase a lot of stuff up…. but we got there. Lindsay had to search for information that wasn’t forthcoming. I do appreciate in the end Lindsay was super helpful and helped get it over the line.

Shockingly bad. Avoid at all costs.
- It was impossible for me or the seller's solicitor to get a response both via email or phone
- My papers were mislaid and not processed for days.
- Multiple times I had to resend information that had been provided days, sometimes weeks ago
- No holiday warning was given no one to take over the case
- Didn't notify the council at completion, so months later I've still not had the official council papers.
