"Hidden Gem in the hidden lane 💎"
I took a trip up to pick up a couple of LPs and a CD. Nice folk, great place to visit, although he had someone in, Ian took time to sort my order out and threw a magnificent bag to put the items. Unfortunately I couldn't show it off due to the 'beautiful Glesga weather' 🌧🌧🌨 Will be ordering again soon. A real hidden gem in the hidden lane 👏👏👍👍

Horrible people who are not as they seem . Not socialists at all.

"Excellent service and Skids vinyl "
Hi,
Just wanted to say what an excellent pressing the Skids 1978 - 1980 vinyl is.
The sound quality of the vinyl is superb.
Communication re updates on the release kept me informed as it was a pre-order.
Thank you and your team for another excellent release on your label.
Looking forward to The Armoury Show new release.
Cheers

"Very very slow and wrong record sent"
Record shops and record sellers often speak of having a tough time surviving and yet here's one that seems to be rather indifferent to customer service and perhaps will wonder why they lose repeat customers. My record order was delayed by around 5-8 weeks. Yes there was correspondence during the long waiting time but this was about delays in issuing signed versions of the record. I actually thought I'd ordered a signed version - but apparently not. There was also promotional mail-outs sent which was rather insulting as the record I wanted hadn't even arrived yet. The record finally came today and the dusk blue vinyl version I ordered appears to have bleached white in the post - they sent the wrong record. I cannot be bothered to even liaise with the record supplier as I have no faith it can resolve anything and life is too short. There are other record suppliers out there.

"I am a complicated customer. LNFG is top."
I am a complicated customer. I live in France. Since Brexit, I have relied on LNFG for most of the Scottish music that I like to follow. I also get tempted by other stuff as they often offer special deals at random moments. Ian sends the vinyl bundles to Mum's UK address twice a year and I pick them up when visiting. Occasionally, and I mean very occasionally, there is a mix up or maybe a delivery fail. Whenever this has happened, Ian has been quick off his feet to sort it out. All communication is polite and friendly and at the end of the day, the music arrives and I'm more than happy. Especially as I know that the funds are ploughed back in to supporting Scotland's young and old music scene.

"Non delivery / response for pre-order"
Attended China Crisis gig, bought an advance copy 'voucher' for greatest hits (mate also bought two). Never arrived for either of us. Have written to the organiser, no response. Assumed delayed production - album clearly in shops now. Very poor after sales response. Even if error, feel ripped off.

"Happy Saturday!"
Sophisticated Boom Boom white vinyl received yesterday - i've made do with a crappy tape version of tracks recorded from the John Peel Show for over 40 years but this sounds magnificent.
Also in the package was a subscription album which had originally got lost in the Royal Mail void so cheers for that too!
Thanks to Ian, Julia & team for their continued dedication, it's much appreciated!

"Sorry to be the outlier..."
I note the many many positive reviews here so it's really very frustrating to have to go against the grain. Having ordered an item from stock on 16th Sept it spent 3 weeks with no updates, miraculously changing to "shipped" the very day I queried it (11th Oct) however no actual reply from them. It's still not here, the tracking number doesn't work and the only response I've had from them is that they aren't responsible for Royal Mail's service in a rather rude and aggressive email.
I really want to like these people because they, on the face of it, represent everything good record labels and stores should be. The reality, for me at least, is that they're either having a bad day every time I contact them or I've had the bad luck to get their one terrible employee each time.
As someone who was considering taking up a subscription I'm hugely disappointed.
Updated.
I note the response from LNFG which takes the same tone adopted to everyone they fail. It's a shame they can't spend as much energy politely responding to and solving customer issues as they do to denigrating them on TrustPilot. Fortunately better and more efficient competition exists.
Further update: despite numerous emails and no product arriving this company have just gone silent, no refund, no response. If I'd realised they are so hard up 22 quid means so much to them I'd have donated it to them as charity. Disappointing but YMMV.
Final update: once the magical Royal Mail waiting period had passed and no item received I requested a refund on a number of occasions to zero reply from "Ian". I ended up having to process a charge back through my bank. Quite literally the worst online retail experience I've ever had.

"Arrogant nasty company"
Arrogant nasty company. Avoid. Claim to be socialists but terrible to bands. Horrible attitude.
