"Good trousers"

The trousers are good and I like their recent styles! I guess the whole idea is that you establish your size once and then you can just order great-fitting trousers. That's usually the case but I found it wasn't with the Hackneys where the waist measurement was quite a long way off. Also the reverse psychology ad they're currently running is very patronising. But still good trousers and I'll continue to buy from them. Customer service is good.

Great quality, with the right size options. Cords and jeans are all really good. It takes a day or two to arrive, but when it does they are worth it - super comfy and they fit like a glove. boxers also very comfy, but take a while to dry so not good for travel of you need to wash and wear.

Fit, finish as usual is great. However, I have noticed that the fabric has lost its satisfying heft compared to previous pair of hemp jeans that I bought from Spoke. It does not feel like 14 oz denim. I could be wrong! But it feels like this fabric was produced at another mill compared to my previous pair.

Clothes that fit regardless of your body shape. Stuff lasts well and continues to look good. The long t shirts and polos are particularly good for me. Also trousers that fit over my thighs without hanging off my waist.

Trousers fall apart within 1 years worth of usage. The section around the zip frays really badly and this morning the pocket broke right through. Rang them about an identical issue a few months back and apparently cos they are over a year old they are not covered. But I've only worn them about 1/3 of the time and bought them 1.5 years ago. Im now buying Timberland instead. Same sort of price but excellent quality by comparison.

I now own 5 pairs of SPOKE trousers and I can honestly say, the fit and quality is superb. They are a joy to wear and you feel so inclined to look after them well. If you wash them carefully, they continue to look as good as new.

Recently, a pair of jeans developed a loose thread, and Evan in customer service quickly arranged a replacement. Really grateful, as I hadn't had them long but clearly this was just a one off.

The only thing I would say, is that I think we can all agree it would be great to see the price of certain 'smaller' garments reduce slightly ... £55.00 for one heavyweight t-shirt this autumn is very hefty, and now is the season to be buying things like that ...
