Loan rate came back as 300% APR. Yes 300%, ie, a worse rates than the mafia will give you, but I wanted the money, so I agreed to do it anyway. I applied and got a call the next day asking for more information, which I shared. Then I got an email needing 2 months of payslips, which I provided. Then they performed a hard search....and promptly rejected me. On a £2k loan with 300% APR. Unbelievable. Very unprofessional and frustrating. Wouldn't ever use again.

Note: Just for reference, I have 2 defaults from 2 years ago and a good credit rating since then: No missed payments, no cash withdrawals, less than 40% credit used and cleared 2 credit accounts in the last 6 months. Still not good enough apparently....

I only hope that companies like Loans2go - whose entire business model relies on exploiting the most financially vulnerable - eventually get their comeuppance
