"These are excellent shoes for flying"

These are excellent shoes for flying. I really like the heal construction smooth and positive control of the rudders. Plus, the bottom of the shoe is stiff allowing me to use the heal brakes on my Citbaria with confidence.

Not a negative, but a reality is, in my opinion, these are not 'everyday' wear shoes. I love them for flying, but do not think they would be great for walking around in stores or other normal activities. I use them more like a bowler changes shoes when going bowling.

There was an article in EAA's "Sport Aviation" magazine a few months ago about flight shoes that really motivated me to buy shoes featuring slider heels.
However, buying shoes that I couldn't try on prior to purchase caused me to hesitate. My issue was that I have narrow feet and many "universal fit" varieties are too wide for me.
With flying season is in full swing, I threw caution to the wind and decided to gamble. Some homeless person was going to get new shoes if my new Lift shoes didn't fit!
I ordered the all leather version so that I could maintain a reasonably decent appearance with a little TLC. Many shoes worn by pilots wind up looking shabby after a few years in service.
I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product and the fact that they seem to fit my narrow feet perfectly. I'm looking forward to my first flight to experience the benefit of the slider heels.

Shoes came perfectly, sunglasses were wrong color but return was easy. Waiting on the new pair but great service.

Shoes fit great and I am really able to feel the rudder input through them as well as transition smoothly to the brakes! Very light and comfortable! Nice product!

Great shoe, would like it more if the sole was flexible. I know this reduces lifespan but I'd be willing to buy a new pair every season.
