I bought these as I needed a lightweight GTX boot.
I've worn them on several walks around my local country park on the trails about 3 miles long. I've yet to use them for more substantial and challenging trails.
They have a good wide fit, and support my ankles well.
Worth the money for easy - intermediate walks/ hikes.
