"Terrible customer service"

On February 14, 2025, I received the sofa I purchased from the Sofatime Blanchardstown branch. I did not dismantle it immediately, as my official move-in date was the following week.

On my move-in date, February 21, 2025, I dismantled the sofa and discovered that I had received a different model than the one I ordered. I had purchased the Dakota, but they delivered the Sorento instead. I tried calling their customer service number, but no one answered. I then found the contact number for the Blanchardstown branch and finally spoke with a salesperson. He informed me that, since the warehouse was already closed at that time, he could only confirm a swap delivery date on Monday.

On Monday morning, I received a call from the same salesperson, who said that the warehouse team had not yet responded to his email. I told him this was urgent and that he should call the warehouse directly instead of waiting for an email reply.

By Tuesday, I still had no update. On February 26, 2025, I called the branch again. A new staff member answered and said he would email the warehouse again. I asked why he wasn’t calling them directly, given that they hadn’t responded to previous emails. He said he would call me back within an hour. After two hours, I still hadn’t received a callback, so I called again. He then promised to call me back later that day.

As the business day neared its end, I still hadn’t received a call, so I contacted them again. This time, a different employee answered and told me they would reach out to me the next day. I expressed my frustration, explaining that they kept pushing back the timeframe and failing to follow up. Instead of addressing my concerns, she pretended not to hear me and abruptly ended the call.

I called again multiple times, and the same employee eventually answered. She admitted to deliberately disconnecting my previous call.

This branch provides terrible customer service, gives misleading updates, and handles issues unprofessionally. Do not buy anything from this store. Awful customer experience!
