"WARNING FRAUD ALERT!"
In September 2021, I found Designcrocx online, which appeared to be a legitimate and professional website company, and discussed my website project with them. They promised to complete my website within 60 to 90 days. I made them draw up a contract, and was quoted $1,200 for my website, which I paid.
In October 2021, they called me and said they misquoted my project, and I needed to pay an additional $750 for additional work that was crucial for its completion. I did not want to delay my project so I paid it. Then in November, after several months of calling for a status update on the website I noticed a problem. Every time I called they kept on delaying my project on technical details, and after many additional calls and complaining, they finally sent me a few pages of my website, but they were non-functional. So, I called Designcrocx and threatened to quit the project, and that’s when their senior project manager “Tyler” called me. He said the website needed to be hosted on a server to be functional, and begged me to continue. He quoted me $2,000 for a year of a Dedicated Hosting Server, and I agreed and paid it. THE VERY NEXT DAY, Tyler’s assistant called me and apologized that I was misquoted. He said, the hosting server I paid for could not handle the amount of information needed for my website to work properly, and I needed to pay an additional $1,200 to upgrade the hosting server.
At that moment I realized this was a fraudulent and fake company, and I was being manipulated to pay more and more for fake service. Six months have passed since I started and I have nothing to show for it. I called and demanded a refund, but they continued to promise me that it would get done, but they could not refund my money. I immediately called PayPal’s fraud department and put in a claim for a refund. Paypal investigated the claim and reviewed my contract, and sided with me and finally refunded me the full amount.
I was fortunate to have used Paypal, and after doing extensive online research on Designcrocx found many reviews with similar experiences, and concluded this company is fake and lying to the public.

"Run for your life and work with a…"
Run for your life and work with a designer who cares about your website, can write without errors, and is not constantly pressuring you to make your site go live at exorbitant prices. Think I’ll push for refund though I see many are trying to do that. Get in line for refunds.

"Design Crocx has failed"
Design Crocx has failed.
They took on a specification and bid the job at 30 to 40 working days. It is the beginning of week 14 and I don't have a build that is worth anything. In fact, my own developers have built out the same features in a PWA while we are still waiting for Design Crocx to demonstrate the same functionality in an APK. They were given access to multiple levels of communication, API endpoints, riser diagrams, and payment in full.
They do not respond to emails or phone calls. If you hear anything about progress or deliverables to be reviewed, they will miss their own estimate or just fail to deliver anything at all.
I have 2 phone numbers that I regularly try to make contact with DesignCrocx on. More than half the time, those numbers are not in service.
After several calls and emails, I discovered that my project manager was demoted and I was given a new project manager. Finally, some progress.
It is 2 weeks later and the new project manager is just as bad as the previous one.
So I'm out.

"BE WARNED: DESIGN CROCX = DESIGN CROOKS"
UPDATE:
DESIGN CROCX = DESIGN CROOKS
DISCOVERED THE SITE WAS DOWN WITH A FAKE GOOGLE ERROR PAGE....
DC rep said my site was “not ADA compliant” and that he could install “ADA encryption” and work with the Google Compliance committee to have the site running in 2 hrs.
My Friend who is a Google cyber security tech confirmed this was a fake Google error page, and there is no such thing as a “Google Compliance Committee, not ADA encryption” and it was obvious they were hijacking my site.
DC Told me that I needed to pay $6000 and they could have it running again in 2 hours (after being told by another rep that there was nothing left of my site and nothing to recover (but they could have it running in 2 hours, after taking 5 months to build???)
A couple other deceptive things Design Crooks did:
-Told me I was getting 5 year hosting pkg through hostgator (even though I already had an account with them but was told I needed a dedicated server. Paid $1264 but ended up that I was on a shared server through Name Cheap and the credit card payment was paid to Smart Start Up Solutions (their corporate name). Then the compliance guy told me that my site was hacked because I was on a share server (that they put me on after telling me I was a dedicated server through a whole different company.)
-Sold me a scheduling plug in called “Notifications” and photo shopped the price to say $426 instead of the actual price of $26. Then found out this was not a scheduling plugin, and DC had just put g appointments in my site (a free service).
-Paid $475 for SEO that never happened.
-Paid $1150 to trademark my logo. It took them 2 months and then told them to forget it. When I called the US trademark registration office, found they had went ahead with the registration the same day I told them not to move ahead, not even trademarking my logo but my company name typed in incorrect font!
- DC never finished the site to make sure that everything was functioning correctly and would not return my texts/calls.
I now have a team of cyber security specialists looking into the matter, as well as a friend of mine who happens to be a Google Attorney. They messed with the wrong person!
I reported them to my credit card company and already was credited some money back.
Hope this helps…..RUN

"Unprofessional and Dishonest"
We chose DesignCrocx because of their competitive pricing. That is the only good thing I can say about them. It has been a nightmare trying to communicate with them due to their heavily accented english. We paid them to design an auction website, 3 years dedicated server, and 3 months SEO. After roughly three months of trying to get things designed the way we wanted, we gave up and allowed them to publish, hoping that we could make the necessary changes ourselves. After they published the website I found out email was not included in the package, even though the contract stated that it was. Since I no longer trusted them I decided to use gmail. This required a few changes in the backend for email routing but even with detailed instructions they were unable to complete this task. At this point we were already dealing with the fourth person since the start of our project. After a month of getting nowhere we were pushed to yet another person. He looked into what had been done and informed us that we did not have a dedicated server and there had been a hacking attempt made on our site. This was the reason given for our email not working. At that point I asked to take control of our domain name so we could move the site to our own server because I can no longer trust this company. I was then called by someone who said they were the top supervisor. He claimed that he would make sure I was 100% happy. When I asked for control of my domain he tried to tell me that his company could handle it much better than anyone else. When I insisted that I wanted to take control of my site myself, he said he would call the next day. That was some weeks ago. He now does not respond to call, or text. I tried calling from a different number and someone answered but said he was in a meeting and would call back. In summary: They are hard to understand. They gave me shared hosting after I'd paid for a dedicated server. They convinced me to pay extra for three months of SEO that they never modified or even optimized for my site. When I asked to take control of my site and domain since the contract specifies that I have 100% ownership rights, they stop responding completely. I am writing this review in hopes of getting them to talk to me when they see it.

"Thinking Design Crocx? Think Run Like Your Life Depends On It."
I have a website about bipolar disorder; it is strictly informational. Remember the chemistry book in 10th grade? It had pictures to support the lessons. For me, content is everything.
No banner ads, no sliders, no calls to action, no images of grade D models looking depressed or lethargic. If I did, I would not have any readers.
I completed their web design questionnaire and logo design questionnaire. I included designs for each of them. After that, Paul called me and we discussed the project in detail for 30 minutes. I thought he was on the right track. I was so wrong!
I received their interpretation of the design 48 hours later. Talk about missing the mark. These guys missed the planet.
As I said, grade D models who are depressed to the point of not being able to crawl out of bed. But these women? They've got the hair, the makeup, and the jewelry. Of course, I glam up when I'm miserable.
It was the banner ad advertising that my blog was the definitive reference for bipolar disorder that sent me over the proverbial wall. Paul, my so-called project manager, and I discussed the design. Why did I give them a second chance?
Then came the logo. Do you know that people with bipolar disorder, especially women, grow plants in their heads? Neither did I. Now I'm wondering what kind of plant it was. One more shot, and these guys would be 3-0.
It says on their site "100% Satisfaction Guaranteed or Your Money Back." I requested my money back.
That's when the trolling began. Four to five texts a day. Emails. Phone calls. Can we try again? We'll figure it out. I promise.
Here's the funny part. Paul says he employs 90 world-class designers. Among them are writers who can put a spark in your site. “Number 1 Design Company.” I checked out their address on Google. Top-notch designers are tucked away in a boarded-up storefront between a nail salon and a pizza place. It must be very crowded there.
Avoid these people at all costs. Please. I’ve heard that getting a restraining order can be a pain in the...

"A HUGE SCAM, DO NOT HIRE"
A HUGE SCAM. DO NOT HIRE. I hired them to design 2 websites for me. They started off very friendly and communicated well. After getting the design down is went it all went downhill. They stopped responding to emails, phone calls, and texts. It would take them weeks to complete the simplest tasks and then once they had completed to update it always turned out to be wrong. They hand you off to different project managers. We tried to get our money back but they stopped answering our calls. Their finance department blocked our calls. This is a huge scam and I hope everyone knows it. They have a CEO which you arent allowed to speak with or even know the name. Please never hire.
