Awful customer service and damaged goods.
I ordered what I was hoping would be a very tasteful sideboard for my dining room, but after this car crash experience I will never shop with Atkin and Thyme again.
The sideboard arrived damaged: the marble top with a huge crack down the middle, and one of the doors doesn't fit properly; this is down to the fittings being slightly out of place and also one incorrectly made. (The screw will not go in and hold the hinge in place.) It's now a month since I flagged the marble and requested a replacement and I'm still none the wiser on when the new marble top will be delivered.
Complete lack of empathy from the company when I have emailed them. It is me who is chasing them and they have even not responded to emails. I would advise anyone not to shop with them. Yes the products look beautiful, but it's not worth the hassle.

"Overpriced, not up to scratch and awful customer service"
My wife and I after much deliberation and several days, hours of research finally took the plunge and ordered a coffee table - Zodiac (Model name) from A&T. Don't be fooled by the images on their website. Their site does come across as high end and has a sense of quality but you will be disappointed. The colours in their product range do not match the actual product because they take pictures in bright lighting enhancing the look of the product. The matt brass product we order came in dull antique brass and it was advertised as stainless steel but the base was really flimsy to be honest. It was extremely light for a solid marble frame which had to go on top.
Product aside, their Customer Service is awful. When I emailed them about this I was told to send the product back, I was straight away told there is a £50 charge. This clearly is a tactic and deterrent to avoid customers from returning their products. I don't understand how they get away with this given the 14 days return back guarantee that most establishments adhere to. Anyway, I don't recommend them and would suggest more reliable brands like Ikea because you can actually see, touch, feel their product and don't end up taking such a big risk + they offer a no quibble no fuss 1year return on all their products - now that's confidence!

"poor customer service"
I ordered a coffee table from Atkin and thyme.
One leg came off after one week so we had no chance to repair that.
The second leg came off after few days again.
I sent an email to customer service with the pictures showing how it was broken.
I had a reply that we are really sorry but can’t do anything as you have used glue and trying to fix it.
Poor customer service.

"Awful customer and delivery service"
The delivery of the piece of furniture arrived. The order stated 'heavy item two man delivery'. They arrived I showed them to the lift. They stood there saying it is too big for the lift. They couldn't even be bothered to turn the box up the other way.
Considering it is described as 'heavy item' they were quite happy to leave to me on my own to turn and get the box into the lift, which when turned the box fitted easily.
Atkin and Thyme only answer was 'Whilst we are unable to refund the delivery charge we have contacted our delivery company for comment and as a gesture of goodwill will send a discount voucher code for a future purchase should you consider us again.' As if i'm going to order from them again!!
Basically they have my money and beyond that they don't care. Poor attitude to customer care. Fortunately, the furniture industry has a lot of competition to choose from.

"I am sorry to inform you that this item has been lost in transit.
We have new stock arriving at the end on May if you are happy to wait".
It's now June and my order has been cancelled, not at my request. Shoddy.
