"Service disgraceful! No help whatsoever"

Wouldn't even rate as one star. Service so poor its almost unbelievable. It has taken me nearly 4 months to get just my control panel fixed. A guy came out in October which I assumed to fix it. Nope. Just told me what was wrong (which I already knew and told over the phone) said someone would be in contact within the week. Nothing heard. One Monday in January got a call today they were at my home address. I was at work! Yes Millbrook I'm disabled and work for a living. It does happen. I had no correspondence to inform me of their arrival. Arranged for them to come toy work the next day which put myself and my work colleagues out. Brought my chair back to me with new wheels but no new control panel which was the issue! Had to wait a further 3 days just for the guy to come into my home and tell me his laptop wasn't working. To this date I still do not have the panel fixed and am left with a faulty wheelchair that breaks down every day!! The service they provide is utterly disgraceful!! They have no comprehension that they are playing with peoples heath and livelihoods. Without my chair I cannot so much as make myself a cup of tea. I've called a number of times over the week and while the receptionists are very lovely in trying to help they make promises and then can't follow with them. They tell you they can get someone out to you as an emergency the next day only for them to call later and tell you they can't get out to you until a few days later. They really need to understand that their technicians should have the correct equipment with them and that it works correctly before sending them out. Absolutely no sympathy for people in awkward situations

"Dedicated staff as ever."

Called in October 2019 as I was struggling with my cushion as I have an uneven pelvis and a heavier left femur than the right. I spoke to claire who triaged me and she explained that Gary Adams was currently unavailable.
However I received an appointment within 2 weeks and met with Emma another occupational therapist and a trainee therapist called Martine. On arrival, Dee kindly made us a cup of tea and was warm and welcoming.
They replaced my cushion with a more up to date one without any fuss at all and were kind and caring in their manner.
Also Simon came in to adjust my knee aductors as they were splayed as I had lost weight since my previous appointment.
I cannot fault all the staff involved. They are truly dedicated to their jobs.

"I am having a hip replacement and…"

I am having a hip replacement and needed equipment for when I have had the operation. All but the toilet seat was delivered because the one they bought did not fit my toilet. The bloke said he would delivered one the following week. However it did not arrive. Phoned Millbrook who were so dam rude on the phone. So went through the hospital. Millbrook phoned me and said they would deliver today. However it's not arrived and I have to go out. They will NOT give you a time slot and I cannot waste a day in home when I need milk and bread. I will be writing to the hospital to stop using this company.

"Cold calling"

Just had a cold call from 0330 124 1246, upon searching the number online, I found it to be from millbrook healthcare. What made me mad was, they called in the morning after I just finished a night shift. They disturbed my sleep so now I made it my mission to rate these nutters 0 stars.

I’m a 30 year old fully fit man, why on Earth they cold call trying to sell me wheelchairs is beyond me. F u millbrook

"Millbrook healthcare Hailsham branch"

I personally would not even rate as a 1 star this company will bully you out of a job if your face do not fit no matter how hard you work to prove yourself you will always be looking over your shoulder bosses are bully's. I spent a year at Millbrook learning nothing more than at nursery this company has serious issues with the way they treat staff, the managers are stealing stock from the warehouse, having affairs against company policies. Making lies to push people out of their employment.
I could go on for days telling you how poor this company is but the best advice I can give you is stay well away from this company.

"My husband is severely disabled and…"

My husband is severely disabled and relies on a multitude of equipment from Millbrook. A disgusting, disgraceful uncaring organisation. The equipment they provide is essential not optional they need to understand this and act accordingly. There is no sense of urgency or willingness to help. All their equipment has regularly failed they will keep you waiting forever and do not seem to recognise that they are endangering life. I won’t bore you with the numerous examples but this evening my husband is seriously ill in A and E resusc as he hasn’t had a working standing hoist for a week has been left in bed constantly and as a result now has aspiration pneumonia. The people on the phone lie and fob you off, you call again you get fobbed off again. This is purely a money making business the NHS needs to find a new provider and stop wasting tax payers money and putting people at risk and in hospital as a result of their inadequate service. Not good enough, no excuse unacceptable.

Bad company to work for, I worked in the warehouse for 8 months they kept me on probation all the way through when it should only be 3 months, felt pushed out of my job so an ex employee could get her job back

"Millbrook adjustable beds do not buy"

Nightmare with adjustable beds mechanisms kept breaking. When you ring they say to deal with retailer will not take responsibility. People answering phone are not prepared to help you. Asked If i could buy mattress’s as beds being returned again said contact retailer, retailer says Millbrook will not allow them to sell mattress’s separately. Millbrook cannot sell them to someone else so will just throw them away shame on you Millbrook do you not care about the planet. I will never buy anything from you again. Sonia Hudson

"Personal experience of Millbrook is…Poor"

Personal experience of Millbrook is that they are not very customer focused. The staf who carry out work are very good and I cannot fault them but the long long delays in getting anything done is in my view completely unacceptable.A simple thing like the provision of a replacement leg strap for my son's wheelchair took three months. Despite phoning several times with promises it would be chased up and I would be phoned back nothing happened. Three months ago I asked for the rubber armrests on my son's wheelchair to be replaced. I am still waiting despite ringing them several times. I have other equipment awaiting repair but there is no concern or urgency by them. It seems to be they have no understanding of how disabled people are totally dependent on the equipment they use to try to live as normal a life as possible and they cannot do without it. Their excuse is they are short staffed which I do not find acceptable or believable. There also does not appear to be any emergency response system when essential equipment needs repair. I have never had any customer satisfaction type form or survey from them. If I did it would be very low scored like this. Perhaps that is why they do not give customers the opportunity to voice their satisfaction or disatisfaction.
