I ordered some shelving units for delivery, then took the day off work so I would be home for delivery. At 16.30pm they had still not been delivered, so I telephoned Rapid Racking to enquire where my delivery was. I was told by a very nice lady that the driver couldn’t find your address and attemtped to phone you at 10.00am. However, the driver had not phoned me or made any form of contact with me, and I was home all day! Needless to say, that after this poor service from the delivery people, I have now cancelled my order and have gone elsewhere. After now reading reviews on Rapid Racking I am pleased I have gone elsewhere and wouldn’t recommend buying from them.

If you have time to waste waiting for a delivery that might get delivered, and then have a substandard product use Rapid Racking. If you value your time and want a quality product, I highly recommend that you go elsewhere.

Thanks for wasting my days holiday Rapid Racking.

I bought the Rapid 2 shelving - the quality is so much better than the cheap units often sold to homeowners. Worth every penny. The company were also very efficient and helpful. Recommend highly.

Having read the other reviews of Rapid Racking, I must say that my experience of dealing with them was exceptional. Both the order taking and customer service were first class, delivery was exactly as expected.
As a former warehouse manager, I have used RR in the past and if anything, there service has only got better.

I bought 1 and got 1 free so I think great value for money - was very easy to order and specify which day I required delivery on. I spoke to Nathan and he sorted out the order for me on the phone in just a few minutes. Very happy and will order from them again. The benches turned up on the right day (I am always grateful when that happens nowadays with a company)! I haven't put them together yet but the benches have been purchased so that I can work on my gardening projects and my partner's DIY - I think they are sturdy and large enough to do the job! Thank you.

"Possibly the worst purchase I've ever made"

Possibly the worst purchase I've ever made.. A good 80% of the metal parts simply do not fit together and so I have to lever them open to fit into the blue stands... Extremely flimsy I wouldn't trust it to hold a bag of feathers let alone a tool box. For something to be called 'rapid racking' its a bloody slow job.. It took me just over an hour to put a single rack together before it all fell apart when I moved it... Why on earth do they sell such crap?

Thanks to Jason for the great design and commitment to the project very flexible and friendly guy who bent over backwards to get the job completed - lovely job!

Job consisted of installation of mezzanine and two tier racking system looked amazing.

"Next day delivery didn't happen!"

Ordered at 15:00, well before the 18:00 deadline for next day delivery, order was received by them. I get a phone call the following day to say that my order wouldn't be arriving, but they only just found out, at 09:10 the next morning, rubbish service, don't use them!

"Next Day delivery is a farce and awful customer service"

Spent a lot of time choosing my order as it's a big investment and called them on Thursday to discuss delivery for "next day" Friday and was told no problem. Placed the order and they even called me twice to confirm it had all gone through.and delivery would be made as promised.

FIrst thing Friday morning I receive a call to tell me that "sorry they were very busy and my shipment didn't make it on the vehicle."

I was furious as I have wasted a day off and because they had a lot of orders mine was not important. I then suggested that they should deliver it on the Saturday as they have broken their next day delivery promise which they even called me to confirm!!! She just laughed and said we don't do Saturday deliveries.

I wasted a days holiday waiting in for a company with awful customer services.

Went to Big Dug instead and they are now delivering to me on Saturday for £15.

Do not buy from RAPID RACKING as there is a reason they are cheap!

"Quality Product Let down by poor delivery and lack of care from sales people"

I ordered 3 sets of racking from rapid racking on 3 different occasions and each time it was meant to be delivered the next day. However it took between 3 to 5 working days to arrive.

When I chased it up with Customer Care team - they did nt really seem that bothered that they'd let me down. Why advertise next day delivery if you cannot do it?

Unless you want to chase it up yourself and hang around all day, choose another company.
