"Hi joined the gym group beginning of December 2022"

Hi joined the gym group beginning of this year, was instantly impressed with the layout and the professional way the coaches Gav,John and Michael who encouraged and mapped my fitness with dedication in order for me to progress on an even keel, allowing me to still work at mussel groups and over all fitness,can’t recommend this gym highly enough as a starter ,advanced male ,female old or young this is the gym for you 👍

I have been a member of UPC since 22nd of December. I can’t speak highly enough of Gav & John. You can join any gym in the world and you are just a number, UPC make a point of instilling a family/community atmosphere amongst their members and they CARE. I have never felt as physically or mentally healthy. The actual sessions they programme for the members are filled with the kind of exercises that you SHOULD do, because they are very good for you, but would quite often shy away from if you were training by yourself in the gym. This teaches and encourages accountability and you feel incredible afterwards. I couldn’t speak highly enough of UPC and I will be a member for as long as I can lift weights.

I’ve tried (and failed) many times to find a health plan and gym that I look forward to attending every session. The coaches are not only fantastically knowledgeable but also approachable, supportive and friendly. I’ve had a shoulder issue for a number of years but UPC always make sure to amend plans where needed and allow me to always feel comfortable in the movement. That has given me new confidence and I already feel stronger and fitter than ever before. The community support each other and all abilities are welcome.

The Seaham junior rugby team have seen a significant difference in their fitness and energy levels since working with the excellent coaches at Unique Performance. All the coaches have extensive knowledge and a friendly approach, making everyone feel comfortable and able to achieve. They adapt the exercise/equipment to suit the ability/level without making this look different to what everyone else is doing giving pointers to improve week on week. The explanation to the team members is clear with encouragement which keeps them motivated throughout the session. The team are having fantastic experiences at Unique Performance Coaching and we would highly recommend to anyone of any ability, excellent fitness plans, plenty of equipment and lots of guidance where required.

Great fully fitted gym for all uses.. Extremely knowledgeable trainers. Highly motivational. Stunning sea views and sunsets. Both Gav and John know in great depth, how to work with certain injury’s, disabilities and mental health. No pressure to train like a machine. Great with teaching macros etc making it easy for a complete beginner. Found my new life time gym xx

Really cant recommend enough! The knowledge behind the guys is admirable. The group is more than welcoming and has a great atmosphere. No clicks which is rare in gym clubs these days!
