I’m editing to say it’s now 2 weeks since the movers picked up my stuff in NY and I still don’t know where my stuff is.
I did not want to trust the bad reviews and chose to just see the good ones. Huge mistake!! Booking with them was great, I felt very comfortable with my choice. They asked for a third of my payment at booking, a third at pick up and a third upon delivery at my new address. They wanted payment through Zelle. Said someone would call me two days before move to confirm and no one called me back. I called the number on the contract and have left messages and I’ve still to hear back from them. Please save your hard earn money and stay away from this moving company. Moving is already stressful, moving out of state is even more stressful and this people are adding even more stress

If I could give them zero stars I would. Absolute scam.
I scheduled a move, and my experience setting it up with the sales person was very pleasant, but it was all downhill from there. On the day they were supposed to come get our stuff, they never showed and never called. We called them and were told the driver was sick so it would be the next day. The next day came, and once again they didn't call or show up. We had to call and were this time told that the truck broke down and it would be the next day. The next day came and they never called or showed up AGAIN. They took my deposit, and just never showed up. They don't communicate anything, they almost never pick up the phone, and they will take your money and not perform the service promised. Ten out of ten don't recommend. I was told I would get my deposit back, and that was weeks ago and I still haven't. I'm going to have to dispute the charge as fraud.
TL;DR: Don't waste your time or money with this scam.

Do NOT used this company! Once they came to my place they started charging me extra fees. 90% of my items came damaged. They’ve changed their name 8 times and had multiple complaints by many people along with legal claims. They work with Limitless relocation and that company doesn’t even tell you sh movers will be getting your stuff. Please do not use. Don’t go through the headache my fiancé and I are going through.

Our family scheduled a move with them from California to Utah. They gave us a really good price and when we looked at the reviews we were excited and paid a $500 advance.
Then came the nightmare. They just decided to not answer calls, show up or anything at all. READ THEIR CONTRACT WHICH REQUIRES YOU TO MAIL A REFUND REQUEST WITHIN 5 DAYS AND EVEN THEN THEY CAN JUST KEEP YOUR MONEY.
A PHYSICAL, WRITTEN REQUEST IS WHAT THEY REQUIRE.

"Worst moving company ever"
Worst moving company ever. They charge you $1000 extra from quote. They told me you will get your stuff in 3 days. Total b.s. I received almost 3 weeks. Please don't give your hard earned money to this company. Staff was rude while delivering my stuff and asking for more tips and extra money. Do not trust them with your furniture.

"Sales Hiding Logistical Nightmare"
The sales process was great...but it has to be to cover up what a customer experiences once the deposit has been paid. I worked with James Whitlock on my estimate. He vastly underestimated the space my items would take up so once the team arrived to pick up my stuff, my actual costs went up by 25%. The team who packed my stuff was lead by Rafe and he was great. He and his team were professional, proactively communicated with me, kept their time commitments and were efficient once on site. Rafe was the only person in this entire company who would return my texts and calls. After my stuff was picked up, I had to call the dispatch team multiple times to try to get updates. They told me it wasn't their job to know where my stuff is and would have to call the driver to get an update. Dispatch never once answered my call the first time (enjoy their condescending voicemail message) and only occasionally deigned to call me back stating that they do not work weekends. I finally got the cell number of the truck driver (who works for an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT COMPANY) who promised a delivery of Saturday morning 3 weeks post pick up. Despite no proactive updates from him, I was able to reach him a few times only to find my delivery date and time to be pushed back 4 times over the course of one weekend. Finally on Sunday night, 2 hours later than the most recent delivery time (7p on a Sunday! Unbelievable!), I find out that my stuff is not actually on the truck in my city...it was 650 miles away. Rafe took returned my texts despite a very late Sunday night and said there had been a problem with whatever company actually delivers the customer's items. Again, I had to call to get my delivery information, rather than the driver or the company calling me. Again, the delivery was pushed from Saturday evening to Sunday morning. To top it all, the driver was 2 hours late and was ALONE. He told me it'd take him 2 hours to unpack and reassemble my items...it took ME, MY BROTHER AND him 2.5 hours to unpack it all. I have still not been called back by James or Renee at dispatch nor anyone else. What a disaster. If I knew this nightmare was going to be half as bad as it actually was, I would have spent the money on moving myself. To boot, an item was broken and SH Movers contracts the claims process out to another company just like they do the delivery. Use any other company or drive your stuff yourself.

"DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY"
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, unless you like minimal communication on where your items are. If you like to have 5-6 different delivery dates given to you for a weekend delivery then find out your stuff is in another city, use this company. If your original quote increases by 20-30% when they show up to pack and move your goods, even though you haven’t added anything to your inventory, then use this company. They have no idea where your items are and get loads mixed up. The driver is not the problem here, it is a lack of logistical expertise on the company. 2 individuals stand out, Rafe and Kanet. They did return calls and tried to help locate the load. Kanet, the driver was alone driving and unloading. What kind of company expects a driver to unload by themselves-SH Movers apparently does. It took 2 hours with him, my son and daughter all unloading the truck-would have been double the time without the additional help. When you call the company, the voicemail box is always full and you cannot leave a message. There has to be a company that does moving well, but it is not SH Movers and James and Renee are unresponsive to calls for assistance. Save yourself the aggravation and find a different company.

DO NoT USE this company as I have made a huge mistake hiring this so called movers. This company doesn't even move the stuff, they are double brokering loads and passing on to God knows who and no one is answering their calls or emails when reaching out to them about my household goods. I'm getting ready to file a missing freight report and have DOT get involved due to the fact it has been over 21 days per their term that I still haven't received my stuff, nor they're giving me any answers as to where their so called driver is, who is not even SH movers driver or even responding back to me. No word as to when I might get my stuff, which has been picked up over a month ago and no one is answering their calls or emails. Again do your homework people, do not trust this company or do business with them, unfortunately I truly regret for not checking on them first.

Price doubled on pick up. Was told property would be delivered within 3-7 days (only 10 hours away from the pick up) and I'm now nearly 30 days later with nothing in site, no date when things will be delivered and repeated misdirection. My things are supposedly on a truck. I could have driven my things one by one and saved a lot of money.
