My company needed to forfeit a commercial lease when I initially found a reluctance by enforcement officers and the legal profession to act or advise because they misinterpret Jenricks Ban on residential evictions Sec 82(1) of the corona virus act 2020 only prohibits forfeiture when the breach is in respect to rent arrears, a section 146 Notice for other breeches duly served is still permissible to enact forfeiture, if not remedied by the Tenant.
