"This company is a genuine disgrace"
This company is a genuine disgrace. If you are struggling to find investors for your startup please DO NOT use this service. They are taking complete advantage of the lack of regulation around services for investor contacts. They claim to have 360k+ active investors. That is absolutely NOT true and they are not legally required to prove that in any way shape or form. The service they provide is absurdly expensive and there are 'add ons' at every stage. I paid for the 'global pro' service as well as the £200 fee to have it promoted for 14 days. I received a grand total of 0 genuine responses. I did however receive a response from a very poor scam artist called Peter Parsons who claims to be a multi-millionaire interested in investing, who spends the entire meeting slating your financials to follow up with an email regarding how he can help you for the bargain price of £6k. I reached out to 12 other users of AIN and they all had as bad or worse experiences.

"SCAM....Do not use"
SCAM....Do not use
They have a money back guarantee if its unsuccessful. The trouble is, it's impossible to get your money back. I've been trying to get a refund but they have made it intentionally difficult by putting impossible hoops for you to jump through. I should've looked at the reviews before it seems there are loads of others experiencing the same thing.
I suspect the profiles on the platform are bots or not genuine. I got one message from one person, who was essentially a loan shark.
Very disingenuous company trying to leach of startups. Don't waste your money, use it to grow your startup!

"Waste of time and money"
This is a platform which seems to be filled with lots of brokers. The base fee to get listed is expensive with no guarantees. Complained to the CEO who gifted us some 'nudges'. These also did not work even though these investors had listed our specific sector in their profile.
I would avoid completely and find a platform that charges a success fee - even if it is higher in £££ terms, it is a sign that they back themselves

"Für den aufgerufenen Preis empfinde ich…"
Für den aufgerufenen Preis empfinde ich die Plattform als wenig benutzerfreundlich. Es fehlen grundlegende Kennzahlen darüber, wo die eigene Anzeige ausgespielt wurde, und es gibt keinerlei Überblick darüber, ob und wer sie angesehen hat. Angesichts der Kosten hätte ich hier deutlich mehr Transparenz und Insights erwartet.

They are SCAM!
They deleted my 2 review before! Now trustpilot says your experience not last 12 months, they know how they can flag trustpilot reviews. If I am not true what about other reviews?

"This website should be closed down. "
You sign up and pay for global exposure and get nothing except one person saying I am not going to invest because I dont invest in this kind of business. Right.... So whey did you bother to message me? Because this is a fake investor and so the company (AIN) can register this as a response to your pitch. 60% random investors not UK and US. Fake accounts. Unless you are going to provided a link to there LinkedIn profile this website should be closed down.

"Absolutely awful "
Absolutely awful
Unclear I asked to cancel immediately after reading reviews and yet they still took “autorenewal” money out even though on the portal said I was on the free subscription I kept checking and they refused a refund. I got one person ask for info on checking with the “real” person it turns out this was fake, now in the process of legal advise. I am
Absolutely fed up of people takeing advantage of startups

"Authentic Review of AIN: BEST platform of this kind available."
I have to say that this site and the experience, to use the term provisioned here, is amongst one of the most unique - alongside, most authentically productive and useful 'conceptual ideas' that has been successfully transformed, in and of itself, into a business. I have searched many google algorithms to find a 'similar' kind of ethos and opportunity-granting network such as the AIN, however, I will be honest and say: *Not one of them compares to the AIN*. I say this, with both respect to the 'products/services' offered, alongside the 'excellent customer service', and many other things including 'the user interface experience/ease of use'.
I actually wanted to make this review for the specific conveyance of the administrators of the site - to exercise dutiful discretion, wherein a complex situation occurred, that was 'outside of the norm', wherein I had actually been very unwell with a health condition for near a couple of months. In this time, I was largely if not completely unable to access the site or even my email, and unfortunately (as is reasonably made clear in the terms, the 'rebilling' automatically occurred) - and therefore, not only had I not used/been able to use the AIN for this entire time, but further, I was not able to 'log on' to remove this feature (I was not able to think about it, in total honesty). However, when I explained the situation to the support team, I was immediately connected to one of the more senior members - and he was able to do something very kind and also very professional.
He allowed the pitch to be 'restored' for an alternative account purview of my incapacity, and this provisioned my family member the ability to create and manage their own independent pitch, without having to 'renew or repay' for the service (because, of course, 'technically', it had already been given value for/of). However, you know, nowadays, it is EXACTLY this kind of things that large corporations and other such entities just seem to have: NO compassion, or even to a lesser 'burden', no ability to 'exercise discretion'.
Therefore, this is another formidable reason that this platform stands out and I highly recommend it to potential investors, potential entrepreneurs and of the like. Because, as I said honestly above, I do not sincerely believe that there is a 'better alternative' out there (EVEN THOUGH, this is an 'Australian based' platform). In this sense, I have been able to be connected with investors from ALL OVER THE WORLD, and the user interface and other such features that I mentioned above: enable very easy and reliable utilisation of the platform, to communicate and exchange ideas/commentary, in a very secure as well as authentic manner.
You see, another reason why I am both writing this review as well as I see that it is important to note in this said review: is that - *MANY 'similar' kinds of platforms or organisations may or may not offer such kinds of similar opportunities*, however, there is often if not always - a large issue with 'transparency' and over-exposure (particularly if you have a very unique business idea etc.) - and this website and its team, GUARANTEE ('d: for me!) - that your pitch is always safe and if necessary or desired, it can be fully inaccessible unless full disclosure is confirmed by you, the investee, beforehand.
As such, this removes the need for long-winded and largely 'non-binding/broadly speaking useless' - NDAs and things of the like. I will note that OF COURSE, you still 'can' have such things and make it clear of this nature, but I think it is an important point to note. As, I think most people would be surprised at the SHEER immenseness of the 'number of people' who have essentially 'stolen or copied' other people's ideas or innovative thoughts, with no protection, which is offered by the AIN.
I therefore, in light of both the specific way that my issue was handled, and the absolute fantastic as well as SWIFT accommodation by customer support - that, I, as aforementioned: could not recommend a better website for either investors or investees. It really has it all, and if you are NOT familiar with it, then just 'heading in' to make a provisory pitch, gives a basic rundown and 'visual demo' of the range of the differing sections to which correspond required and specifically designed and essential components for the production of an 'effective and (hopefully) enticing' offer for investors. Which, again, as I said: FROM AROUND the world, not just in Australia, and not just in the city you live in, but ALL around the world. I have connected with investors in Russia, Asia, USA, so many places.
So, as a final comment and conclusion: if you're one or either of the former ^ above - THIS is the site/place for you. Where you can, at the risk of sounding cliched, turn a dream into reality.

"Glad I came here first + OMG what I just realised whilst writing this review!"
As the sole owner of an EdTech startup and in eagerness to press on with my business, I came across angelinvestmentnetwork.
Always sceptical of money being offered in any form online, I done my due diligence and came here first and I'm very glad I did, because it has saved me a lot of time and money. Funny i'm now using that time to write this review, my hope is that AIN will act on it and make these policies more obvious and accesible.
Another review explains how the "packages" are found at the end of the sign-up process. I also didn't see any mention of billing or being charged until after a very long sign-up process. After entering your personal info and signing-up, you are prompted to enter:
"Pitch
Financials
Logo
Website
Highlights
Team
Deal
Short Summary
Images
Video
Docs"
After you input all this information "packages".
First thing on this page,
"Money back guarantee
If you don’t get any genuine interest, we’ll issue a full refund! *Please see our refund policy for more information."
Where it says "refund policy", is just plain text.
It would be super helpful if the text actually linked to the refund policy. In fact, the refund policy cannot be found on this page at all!
Lets review the "refund policy".
This can found in section 2 "pitch & deal" of your proposal, in FAQ.. right at the bottom. As another reviewer notes, "buried in the fine print". How dare AIN respond to this calling it untrue, it absolutely is true.

This policy 100% feels shady and wrong to me.
Regarding the first point, the requirement to contact all investors they connect you with.
1)Why is this a requirement?
2)How many investors could this be?
3)Is there a limit/maximum number of investors to which this will be enforced? For example if AIN connects me with 20, or 200, or 1000 investors?; does this policy stand the same? Would I be required to contact 1000 investors before asking for a refund?
It get's worse..

Another review mentions how this is easy to miss and be billed unfairly. AIN response to this review?

"Genuine interest" is ambiguous and open to interpretation, so i'm glad AIN goes on to explain "if no investors contact you OR engage with you."
The word "or", would suggest an investor does not need to contact you, rather, they simply need to "engage with you", leaving you ineligible for the free renewal.
1)What does "engage with you" mean in this context?
OK Last page, last chance.
