"Average/satisfactory experience (not the best but not bad either)"

Staff were friendly. Happy with receiving raw images for my modelling portfolio and they got me signed with an agency. However, they said they would edit my images and quite frankly, my raw images look better than my edited images. They did not edit them at all like 3 times then the last time they sent my images, the editing looked very cheap and lazy work as if someone completely unexperienced done it

As a former occasional extra, with only a handful of jobs from over two decades ago, I thought about getting back into the industry. I have technical theatre experience and a Diploma in Popular music performance (Voice) and I’ve had a little bit of Acting training, so I was keen to try New Idol as a resource to potential work and get the ball rolling. The model photo shoot was an all round fantastic experience. Crew, make up artist and photographers were an absolute delight, making me feel confident and they made the experience stress free and fun. I was really happy with the results of the photos and the referrals to agencies. I feel equipped to take my first steps after a long break in the industry. I’ve had agencies call me and directions on how to get castings etc. Thank you New Idol

"I received an unexpected telephone call…"

I received an unexpected telephone call from Steve at New Idol Model, who had received my headshot photo. He congratulated me on being selected for the next stage of the process and explained in detail what to expect and how to prepare for the photoshoot. As someone who is a complete novice, his guidance was invaluable.

On the day of the shoot, the team was incredibly supportive and friendly. The makeup artist and photographer were excellent, and I shared some good banter with them, which put me at ease.

Meeting Rebecca was the icing on the cake. She apologised for the long wait, smiled, and informed me that my photoshoot had gone well. I received complimentary feedback and assurance of their support in the coming weeks, and then I got signed. It was a perfect conclusion to a fantastic day! A long journey will undoubtedly require hard work and dedication to guarantee success. However, I feel confident I can succeed with Amber's backing from the aftercare team. THANK YOU, New Idol Model, for the opportunity to embark on a new career at 60!

"I want my deposit back "

Everyone was really friendly while I was there however it is misleading as u expect to not have to pay for anything and get your deposit back right? Wrong you do not get your deposit back, It has been almost 2 months after being told I’d get it back in a few days, the way I thought of it was a great opportunity to break into modelling and it was free so why not try, I got there and it was pretty professional and friendly however slightly which I get as alot of people where waiting aswell,
Once I said I didn’t want to pay for anything and get my deposit back I was told that I didn’t look like i wanted to be there at all which I did want to be there as thought it was a career opportunity not a scam, I will update this review once I recover my deposit back which was £150 btw because I’m not over 21 which is bs as I’m an adult at 20 so why is it if I was 21 I only would have to pay £50 and tbh if it was just £50 I wouldn’t be too bothered or be writing a review, but it was £150 which I still have not recovered, I have all the invoices as proof, hoping to get my money back from this review, and to new idol model when u read this please inform people on the first point of chat that they will have to pay for their photos and to get anywhere with them, before u get upset customers like me. Update: they have now refunded me fully, thank you to the team who did so, it was fast and easy they were very understanding.

"Great experience "

I was late due to traffic and I was given extra time to get there. On arrival I was made to feel very welcome. The makeup artist and the photographer was fantastic felt a little nervous at first but soon got into the poses. There was a long wait aftet the photo shoot to see Rebecca who explained everything in detail (next steps) it was worth the long wait, I have already been contacted by 2 agencies. Thank you New Idol and your lovely staff team.
