The worst experience ever!

Impossible to get hold of our solicitor Shaf Aslam. Staff had a complete lack of competence. Delayed our whole completion process! To top it off, our solicitor sent insufficient funds on completion date, was impossible to get hold of and we were almost left homeless for the night with our baby, after already completing on our sale. Absolutely disgusting! Still haven’t heard back from our formal complaint after 39 days

Once you've instructed them and paid the non-refundable file opening fee, they're very good at ignoring emails, phone calls and voicemails. It's not uncommon to try calling them several times throughout the day and get nothing but voicemail. On the rare occasion when they do reply to an email they often don't address the question you asked. They're extremely slow. The solicitor required constant prompting by me to get anything done. The whole process took much longer than it needed to. When I agreed to the quote over the phone they told me 8 weeks, then it turned to 10 weeks after I had paid. Then when I complained that after 8 weeks we were still nowhere near completion they said 15 weeks is normal. All the other solicitors in the chain were ready to go several weeks before my solicitor was, and kept asking me for updates. I had to keep chasing up my solicitor. They kept forgetting to send me important documents like search results and documents sent from the seller's solicitor. If it wasn't for me knowing what documents I needed and chasing them up, I would never have received them. Even the seller's solicitors complained that their emails were being ignored. They kept switching my assigned solicitor. On two occasions during the process my solicitor went on holiday and absolutely nothing happened for over a week both times. It's a miracle nobody in the chain pulled out after all that time they were made to wait. In summary, my experience was that these solicitors are slow, incompetent and very difficult to get hold of. For some reason on trustpilot they have a good average score, but check them out on Google and you will see they don't score so well.

When Indra took over I felt things started going much better she was nice and treated me like a real person 5star. I did think vee was trying but did not treat me in the same way and forgetting to order the management pack which he admitted to me set us back quite a bit. I felt like he was waiting for his leaving date.My buyers solicitor was awful and no solicitor could do anything about this so well done for getting through it. I have worked with Mohamed Iqbal-Tayub before with the purchase of a property. He delivered the same level of good service this time around as well and demonstrated his knowledge of the various issues during the conveyance. I would recommend him for property purchases and consider working with him again.

Our lawyer Deborah has been amazing from start to finish. She pushed through and got us from offer to completion in a little over 11 weeks. Phenomenal speed. Don’t get me wrong, we were nervous for a while, but Deborah allayed our fears and worked tirelessly to ensure we were able to complete with plenty of time to spare. I would highly recommend premier property lawyers, specifically Deborah who is a credit to the company. Thank you.

"Avoid at all costs"

Impossible to get hold of. Recommend to us by the Estate Agent. I could never get a hold of anyone by phone or email. We received and automated email almost every day asking to book an initial appointment but there was no option to do so. When we finally managed to book one over the phone they never turned up for it. Significantly delayed our purchase by 4 weeks before we changed solicitor. At least their deposit fee was only about £60

Really good communication. We love the app and portal making it easy to see what is required from us, what is pending and how our progress is going on a house sale so we know where we stand and no concerns or chasing up.

As my son Sean was working abroad when all the dealings of his flat buying was going on I had to complete most of the work pertaining to this and I found Sabeeah Shaukat very helpful with all the form filling and any general questions that required answers.
