"Could not have been better"

I had been looking for a Nikon D5300 body for quite sometime and came across Portus Digital. I could not believe the price, some £200 cheaper than your Amazons, Wexes etc. After trawling all the review sites which were mostly all good I took the plunge and ordered. Just like their website says, delivery was within 7 working days in my case it was 4 and was delighted with the product. Yes, it is a grey import but for that price need I say any more. I would definitely recommend Portus to anyone and in me they have gained a regular customer.

"UK based(Wales) No Extra Hidden Charges"

I phoned up and was greeted with a professional person on the other end who advised if I ordered today I will get my new Nikon D810 within 7 working days.
As it was a bank holiday in between and I was away the latter part of the week I sent an email informing them of this and nice polite email was sent by their Sales Manager telling me as they are the cheapest in the UK and they are very busy (no wonder at their low prices),but they will do their best... Well they did it came via UPS on the Wednesday (3 working days) and I can only congratulate them for obliging.
My only wish is why do they keep cutting the prices so quickly if I waited another couple of weeks I would have saved another £80. but that is life and I do have an excellent product saving me over £700 on the UK direct import version.
I will be ordering my next item from them again soon. So thanks Portusdigital I can now afford that extra lens...

I bought a D7000 and a prime lens.
Delivered in 7 working days. They expected to be shipped earlier though. Customer service very polite and efficient, by phone and by email.
I will definitely buy again. This guys are reliable. They take care of their business by taking care of their customers.
I have seen the same items cheaper, but trying to save £10 or £15 from a £500 item is not worth it, I don't like gambling.
Portus has given me a 5* service at an amazing price.

"Amazing value, no reason for real concern."

Was browsing around the net looking at placed I could get a dSLR at a reduced rate and stumbled upon Portus Digital.

Now, my only concern with the service is the lack of information throughout the process. The camera comes into stick, gets shipped out and then it is delivered. I bit the bullet and sure enough around a week later my camera was dispatched.

I did have some issues with UPS and delivery but I wouldn't blame Portus Digital for that. Happy bunny - saved me £253 over Amazon's price.

I was sceptical of ordering from a site that imports, as I am always worried I am going to make the wrong decision when buying from websites of companies I don't know. However, after reading many excellent reviews and researching I decided to go ahead and order - on my credit card of course for extra security! I need not have worried at all. After placing the order via their website, I received an email confirming my order, then the next day another email explaining that it was being processed and that the camera would be shipped to me next day delivery by UPS when they received it. It said I may get tracking info from UPS in the form of an email after 6pm on the day it was shipped to me. I did not receive the email, but this was of no bother as I am in most days. From initial order to arriving on my doorstep it took 7 days. The camera and lens arrived, all in original boxes and with a uk plug adapter for the charger.. I saved so much money buying through Portus Digital. This will be the only place I buy camera equipment from now, as the service and price are excellent. Would definitely recommend you give them a go.
