"Great service great price, what's not to like?"

Did lots of back and forward on websites looking for a good deal on a Nikon D7100, and Portus Digital was cheapest every time.
But that niggle was at the back of my mind, "if it seems too good to be true etc.. ".
I checked the reviews, all good and the company has a 'proper' phone number so i gave them a ring.
Phone was answered quickly and the young man was very helpful telling me they'd had a run on that particular camera and were restocking so there'd be a delay of about a week. He also said my card would be debited as soon as I ordered.
I rang two other companies but liked the Portus response best so ordered from them online.
I made a total mess of entering my email address, doing a combo of my two email adresses and realised as soon as i pressed send.
i rang Portus and they resent the receipt but said they couldn't change things on their computer. This meant i didn't get any tracking info so it was a nice surprise when the camera arrived three days ahead of schedule.
I ordered a camera body, it came in a 'kit' box sans lens, this wasn't a problem for me, with a saving of £300 I would have accepted it in a brown paper bag.
The instruction booklet is in English and all the plugs are UK plugs.
There's a 3 year warranty, because this is a 'grey' import the warranty isn't with Nikon UK but I've had a camera repaired under warranty by Nikon in the past and I would never again send a camera to them for repair.
A happy experience for me and I am happy to recommend this company.

What more can you say ordered a Canon 600d on Sunday 05 Jan 2014 on Monday my item showed as payment complete and processing,I tracked the order and UPS delivered the parcel exactly as promised.I can not fault Portusdigital in any way.I researched long and hard to buy a camera but this deal was the best on offer, I got the camera and the stanard lens with the added bonus of the 55mm-250mm lens included for less than some places wanted just for the camera.I will return for any more photographic purchases.

Bought a Canon 5D Mk III with 24-105 zoom from Portus Digital at the lowest internet price. A little concerned due to large outlay versus low internet price. Arrived ahead of schedule - though no advance notice of its arrival. Looked perfect out of the box. No problems after a few days of use. So far so good.

5D Mk III is of course a fantastic camera. Had reservations over the Canon 24-105 L series zoom being only F4 but the Auto ISO and low noise, together with the Image Stabilisation, allow good results in the sitting room in the evening without flash. Doesn't have the tight depth of field of a wider aperture lens - but you can't have everything and the extended zoom range just about tips the balance.

I ordered a canon 6D from PD late last Friday evening. They state on their website that they normally deliver items within 5 working days. I tracked the order every day on their website and for the first 4 working days the status of my order stated 'paid, now processing'. On the 5th working day (today) the order status changed to 'complete', and this very same evening a delivery driver chapped my door and handed me a box containing my shiny new camera.
I'm starting my own photography business in the next few months and still have some items I need to buy. If PD stock these products I will definitely be buying from them for the 2 reasons people buy from a company - their prices are great and the service is great.
I had originally ordered the canon 6D (and a lens that I've now bought elsewhere) from another company who, given their name, should allow you to buy electronics simply (I've written a review about that experience too) but they were a total let down. I'm hoping PD continue to provide the same level of service in the future as they have for this purchase.
