"Worst customer care"

We have two of the most expensive tents from Outwell, from the SATC inflatable line. We also have a lot of furniture, airbeds, chairs, etc. For the tents we must use a pump. We purchased the most expensive electric one also from Outwell. The tube of the pump was broken. I sent a request to buy the tube (not for free of course!). I do not received any answer for 4 weeks. I called them... Than no answer for another 3 weeks. Then I called them again. So after almost 2 months I received an email from the customer service saying, that this is not in production anymore, so they cannot replace it. 1st of all: they MUST provide service for products they are selling AND this pump is still in their web-shop! So I purchased the same pump since we liked to use the tent.

So very bad customer service and a big lie! They simply do not care!

We hebben 5 jaar geleden een Outwell tent gekocht, bij OutdoorXL. 3 vakanties mee gehouden in gematigd klimaat (waaronder Denemarken, prachtig!), tent ziet er als nieuw uit. Deze vakantie bleek te tent chemisch te ontbinden; een zeer ongezonde vieze hoofdpijn veroorzakende lucht kwam er uit; we konden hier niet eens naast staan, laat staan er in. Ik twijfel niet aan wat deze lucht voor schade aan mensen kan veroorzaken.

OutdoorXL (de winkel) neemt voor ons de tent in, neemt contact op met Outwell, biedt de tent+ alle benodigde informatie aan voor een onderzoek.

Outwell (de fabrikant dus) wil de tent niet zien. Ze zeggen dat de tent niet te repareren is (duh). Ze verkopen liever nog meer slechte, ongezonde tenten die 4 jaar meegaan dan dat ze nagaan wat hier gebeurd is.

OutdoorXL, ons volgens mij niks verschuldigd, snapt het ook niet en zij bieden ons nu een schappelijke regeling. OutdoorXL: *****

Had to purchase elsewhere.

Product seems good but delivery and customer service a joke.
