"Our carer built a great relationship…"
Our carer built a great relationship with dad. He went over and beyond what was required making sure dad was ok at all times even through the night.
His years of experience with Dementia showed in how he looked after dad always willing to go the extra mile for him.

"I found this company very professional"
I found Lifted very professional, kind and friendly when I used one of their carers and would strongly recommend them.

"First impression - unreliable and unprofessional"
Scheduled a call to discuss care needs .. still waiting for this organisation to contact me. Main telephone number is answering service only which directs the caller to the website to schedule a call to discuss care needs. Most disappointing.

"Visits from Lifted"
I have really appreciated all the help and support I received from Lifted since I first started receiving visits. All my carers have enabled me to get up and start my day. I wanted to give a special call out to Marina who has worked with me closely for a long time now and has always been so encouraging. Thank you also to Stevie for calling me on Tuesdays and I have enjoyed my chats with her.
Thank you to Lifted for being flexible in their support of me. My aim is to become in time self sufficient and I know that Lifted will help me get there.

"If you can use LIFTED CARE"
I have went from requiring a 19 hour weekly visiting care package back in 1992 and has gradually been increased over years until February 3 years ago from 4 long care visits every day plus weekly shopping call and a cleaning call. About 10 years ago my health seriously deteriorated and all of my hormones stopped working and now the essential ones all have to be replaced either by medications or injections and ever since then it’s been a case of being diagnosed with 1 new medical condition after another and I’m only 49 years old. Over these years my care and support needs have continued to still increase and I’ve now got about 25 different medical conditions and take lots of medications for my conditions, just at breakfast time I take about 26 medications. My care used to be managed by social services and they attempted 3 times to get the NHS Continuing Healthcare Team to take over responsibility for my care and on 3rd attempt 3 years ago they did and due to my still growing health needs in February 2 years ago it came between to adequately get my care needs met I had to choose whether to have to move into an elderly care home or to have a 24 hour live in carer. I definitely didn’t want to move into a care home at my age and I didn’t really want a stranger living with me but I knew because of my care needs I required it and so I decided to try the live in care. Just to give you all a very small snapshot of my health is I’ve had my right arm amputated at my shoulder, my right leg is constantly very painful and I don’t have full movement in it due to complications from a femur fracture and I can only walk painfully very short distances with an elbow crutch or longer distances with an electric wheelchair or a manual one as a back up that my carer has to push, I’ve had c diff infection 6 times, sepsis 13 times, I’ve also had to have a stoma fitted with is over active and regularly bursts and leaks especially during the night when before I had my live in carer I could be lying in my own mess with it burning my skin until my morning care call and also especially over more recent years I’ve noticed that the district nurses have pushed more and more of their tasks onto my carer to do, most recently he was trained how to give me enemas, I also got degeneration of my corneas which requires my carer to put eye drops in for me every 2 hours and I have had my tear ducts blocked and will need cornea transplants at some time, I’ve also got high blood pressure and cholesterol, angina, cardiomyopathy and heart failure and I suffer from anxiety and depression and have attempted to take my life on several occasions. I’ve used about 8 different care agencies over the years and just since I’ve needed a 24/7 live in carer I’ve used about 4 different care agencies who until now have all been much the same and what I had thought was that all these care agencies aren’t really interested in you or what they say in their glossy brochures they just want the money. That was until earlier this year I was changed to a care agency called LIFTED CARE and they have been a complete breath of fresh air and TOTALLY different from ANY other care agency. Firstly they are the only care agency that I have come across that uses a qualified social worker to carry out your initial assessment the wonderful and couldn’t be more caring or helpful Sarah Manto done mine. They actually do what they say they will and in my opinion much more. As well as really trying their best to carry out an excellent assessment they will take time in finding you a carer that will be a good match for you and they DO check on how you are and how things are going and that you have no issues that you want to raise with them that they need to sort out. That’s mainly been by Sarah or Nick and Nick has been great too. They do genuinely care for you as if you were a member of their own family and their genuine interest and care for you as their client shines through.Obviously they are in business to make a profit too but their charges are very reasonable for what they provide to you when compared to any other agency that I’ve ever used or even heard of as when I used to be able to work I was a care manager. Sarah is even currently assisting me with some charity applications. Also I’ve been in hospital a couple of times recently and they have kept in very regular contact with me right throughout my hospital stay also when other agencies only care when you are getting discharged.Their IT systems that they and the carers use are also more advanced than other agencies I’ve used. The carers from every other agency have always complained about their manager and office staff but I can honestly say that the carers from LIFTED CARE have never ONCE complained about their management or office staff and their carers are genuinely happy to be working for LIFTED CARE. I would recommend LIFTED CARE to anyone!

"The best carers in London"
Lifted made our life so much easier and better. They have such kind, compassionate & efficient carers and an overall excellent team headed by Nicholas. I kept a carer for 4 days a week for my partner who has heart & kidney failure and is on home dialysis. Our primary carer Raegan is the most lovely and wonderful person one can meet. She always went above and beyond to help us. We also had other carers, Martens & Callie, who were efficient, kind and very friendly. Sadly we are leaving London & so had to cancel our contract. They always helped us whenever we needed help & I cannot recommend Lifted highly enough. They also have a very useful app to keep track of the carer's visit when you are in office or out and your loved one is alone. I will always be grateful to Lifted for their 5 star care services.

"Excellent help with broken shoulder After a bad fall where I broke my…"
After a bad fall where I broke my shoulder, we contacted Lifted and very quickly had a zoom interview and adequate help was arranged for me straight away. My carers were always punctual, professional, thoughtful and kind, actually I really enjoyed their company and soon got my confidence back. Their help gave peace of mind to me and my family that I was well looked after which I am very grateful for. I strongly recommend them.

"Very Helpful and Grateful"
My family are very grateful to the team at Lifted and the carer supplied by Lifted at fairly short notice to look after my father. The carer took good care of my father both with respect to nursing and domestic needs and was also able to accompany my father to two urgent eye appointments while he was caring for my father. We would recommend Lifted to other people in our position who have substantial family care needs occurring with no notice.

"This was a very informative and…"
This was a very informative and encouraging session, giving clear and useful information to people who were understandably anxious, worried, and exhausted. Rachael’s gentle and professional delivery exuded warmth and concern, borne out of her personal experience which she shared to movingly and willingly. Thank you for a really good hour which I will share with Tibbs Dementia Foundation in Bedford, for whom I volunteer.

"Helpful advice at Lifted Seminar"
Unfortunately I had to leave the meeting to answer a phone call from my"loved one" who is just out of hospital. However I did receive some helpful advice.
