Obviously I looked at all the negative reviews online but every company seems to be the same. I took a chance and found the Palermo staff to be efficient, helpful, friendly, professional and not at all like other peoples reviews describe. The car itself was great, exactly as I booked, a nearly new, small, automatic geared hatchback, perfect for Sicily's tiny villages & mountain roads. We did a thousand kilometres and had no problems, it was reliable, with icy cold air conditioning, and really cheap to run. Actually, it was so economic that I'm thinking of buying one. So far, 2 days after returning the vehicle with a clean, 'zero to pay' return note, I have had no issues with the widely reported spurious excess charges at all. I am very happy to recommend Green Motion in Palermo to anyone and with only two bits of advice. Firstly, double and triple check the vehicle before you drive off, as I did find one tiny scratch that had been missed on the signing out paperwork, which I suppose 'could' have been an issue. Secondly, spend 20 Euros on a really good valet clean on your last day so that you return the vehicle sparkling clean, inside and out. Both these things are highly likely to mean that you do not have any unpleasantness at the end of your holiday. Buon Viaggio..!
