"Not too small, not too big, just right"

The Jucy RV was very capable on the mountainous, winding roads of Northern California. The Penthouse was roomy enough to sleep two adults comfortably. Two adults were comfortable inside the van as well. The kitchen sink, stove, and refrigerator worked well. A very economical and enjoyable way to see the sights!

"AWESOME van with a couple caveats"

We had a lot of fun with our Jucy Camper. We took it to Zion National Park and Valley of Fire State Park and it was just a blast to take around. It was so nice to have all of our belongings as well as a full kitchen everywhere we went for a hot meal and some coffee. We only used the penthouse for storage as we didn't want to go up and down a latter at night, but the inside bed was comfortable to sleep on. The bed has a slight decline from your upper back to where you would rest your head, so we opted to buy a $5 Walmart pillow to give us a little extra support as the provided pillow was a little small.

PROS
- The van was comfortable, easy to drive, and didn't give us any mechanical issues.
- Sleeping inside was much better than sleeping in a tent
- Having a place to cook a hot meal with fridge access helped save money over having to eat at a sit down restaurant and gave us more flexibility
- At $299 for a Groupon, I'd consider this a great deal over one of the expensive tourist hotels near the parks. You'd spend half that over three days renting a car alone.

CONS
- Kitchenware was pretty dirty so it seems like they did not give a thorough look after the last renters returned the vehicle. It was a mild inconvenience to have to wash everything before using it.
- Snaps to secure privacy covers on the windows were almost completely broken. There has to be a better way to do this, but we felt a little exposed as we slept. Almost all of the metal snaps were broken or completely ripped off the cover. This seems like a cheap thing to fix that is kind of an important feature to have when you're sleeping in a van in public.
- We didn't really use the penthouse, but when I went up there to store some luggage while we were parked, it had a pee-like oder. Probably could use some airing out.
- When I brought the ladder down for the penthouse, I had a hell of a time getting it back up a few times. The pivoting mechanism allowing the ladder to rotate positions got completely jammed so it prevented the ladder from sliding back into the van. I figured out a good way to fix it eventually, but it was a 20-30 min ordeal that worried me for a bit.
- Key fob didn't work. Not a big deal, but a mild inconvenience.

Despite a few of those cons, I sincerely loved having the van and would definitely rent it again. There are a few shortcomings that I think are easily fixable and I hope Jucy finds better ways with addressing some of the cleanliness and privacy issues, but I wouldn't shy away for just these reasons. Pick up/drop off was really easy and just about everything else was. We will definitely rent again in the future for our next adventure.

Amazing trip! Picked up in LA and dropped off in SF. Super easy to collect and drop off, helpful customer service from start to finish. Great van, we slept in the penthouse which comfortably fit 2 people. Everything worked perfectly in the van, definitely reccomend getting the utensils and bedding included in booking if travelling from overseas like us. We had so many questions and compliments on the van everywhere we went, happily reccomended to all :)

We absolutely loved our Jucy Van! It was fun, comfortable and extremely well outfitted. The company was a pleasure to deal with, both the New Zealand end of the company and the Las Vegas people. Everyone was friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. We would rent a Jucy Van again in a heartbeat, and have recommended the company to everyone we know. Truly a wonderful experience!

"Great experience"

Our experience with Jucy was excellent. The vehicle was clean and operated well. We had a great time traveling in it around the Mojave Desert. I was concerned about being cool at night (our trip was in March) but Jucy provided plenty of warm blankets. Pick up and drop off was quick and efficient and was only minutes from the airport. Finally, the customer service was above and beyond.

We had some technology issues with booking and there is some information that is not correctly listed on the website, so I would call and verify times, etc. However, the customer service from Nicole B and Keisheila L made up for it. Nicole was quick and helpful to fix our booking error. Keisheila went above and beyond to help us out when our flight was canceled- she even provided her home number in case we needed additional help! We had a great escape into the desert and we are already discussing future trips.

"Best choice I've made to make my trip cheaper"

Had a great experience with jucy. The customer service was exceptional.. the car was really comfortable, clean and functional. The kitchen was very easy to use. I did the math and renting the jucy van was far cheaper than staying In hostels when you take into account transportation costs. Would definately recommend without hesitation.

"Reliable vehicle with comfy accommodation"

We loved our trip in our Jucy rental, the company were great and incredibly helpful offering great advise about routes to take. The vehicle was comfortable for travelling long distances and we loved the nights where we camped in National Parks with the ease of setting up and being so close to nature, it was truely memorable, we cant wait for the next trip!!

Why just rent a car and also rent a campsite? With this campervan we were able to do both for just one price. Plus the gas mileage on it was amazing.
