Very satisfied with service received during our recent move from Sutton -in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire to Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire. Team arrived on time, Steve, Mick and Aaron. All very professional and courteous and nothing too much trouble for them. They were very hard working and quick. Excellent service and highly reccommended. Would definitely use again. Thanks again for helping our move go smoothly.

From Steve's initial visit, through the quotation, discussions about the vehicle, the phone call offering the extra van, and to the removal itself, it has been a pleasure to work with Tigers Removals.
Steve and Arnie worked tirelessly on the day and could not have done any more to make the move stress free. Amazing and very pleasant guys. It was like dealing with friends.

My experience

Pros
- The site visit and quotation were each very prompt.
- Great value for money.
- The two blokes that moved my property were extremely hard working and timely, and flexible in their approach.
- Some minor items that were mislaid were returned to me in short order and in the good condition they left the property I moved from

Cons
- Packing Materials were supplied over a period of days with delivery of some materials rescheduled and only after me chasing team.
- Nothing else.

To confirm my approval of Tiger Removals I have engaged them on a second occasion without hesitation.

"Great removal, appalling admin"

Pros
- Efficient removal of my items into storage.
- Reasonable removal and storage rates.
- Friendly crew on both moving out and moving back in 2 weeks later who took care with my items.
- Flexible dates because my house contracts were delayed a couple of times.
- Chris in the office was prompt with replying to emails.

Cons
- Turned up an hour late the morning of moving out of my home adding stress to an already stressful situation. Not acceptable considering their depot is a 5 minute drive away
- Turned up an hour late the morning of moving into my address with no pre-call to warn me of that.
- My storage container was being shared with someone else's items. If I'm paying £30 a week for storage, I expect my items to be the only ones in storage. This is how mix-ups occur. When I spotted the other individual's items, I was told "don't worry, its just rubbish". Comforting.
- Paid a premium for a large lorry. They turned up in a small Luton van and still expected me to pay the premium because they would have to undertake two trips to move me out. I was told at no point that I would be getting a smaller vehicle. The excuse "as you're local, we thought you wouldn't mind".
- Poor communication from other members of the admin/senior team - multiple phone calls or texts required to get answers to anything.
- Took my money nice and quickly, but it took 3 days for a receipt of my deposit or any confirmation whatsoever.
- No apologies at any point during the process. No sorry about turning up late, no apologies for the lack of larger vehicle or the fact they decided to shove another person's items in with mine.

As Tigers is primarily a removal company, I can’t give them any less than 3 stars as that part of the service was fantastic, but the administrative side of the business was very poor indeed and it’s for that reason that I wouldn’t use them again.

Very honest hardworking guys! Couldn’t be happier with the service carried out by Mark and Shaun yesterday with my house move. Nothing was too much trouble. These guys worked tirelessly to pack up my house and move it all to a first floor apartment. Very reasonable price and two friendly guys. Thanks so much!

If you want to be dropped in it on your move day book this lot. Contacted them via their website for a quote, James contacted me and said he would be with me on sat early 8am onwards so got up early on my day off by 10-30 had to phone the mobile who didn't answer. However not knowing who I was called me back and thinking on his feet said he had had a terrible day with with his car not starting and was about to call me. What a load of bull, Said can I come tomorrow at 2-30 ....well didn't turn up, avoid unless you want to run the risk of them not turning up on the day. NO STARS

Share the points made previously. They dont even send claim forms or reply to emails. Too many companies seem to rely on the customer just giving up!

"Poor admin team and customer service"

Poor admin team and customer service. The admin guy rang me before the job finished demanding money. He was aggressive and I heard him tell the removals guy “to not leave until she has paid”. He demanded cash even though I’d paid by credit card before so they could remain below the VAT limit.

I complained to the owner who said he would address the situation. Not sure what was done.

The removals guys were pleasant but wrecked every newly painted wall and door including door frames. They damaged the washing machine, fridge, the newly laid cushion floor in the utility room, marked the new carpets, scratched my shiny glossy black coffee table. They allegedly re-assembled the beds and wardrobes, for which they charged extra. These fell apart with screws missing and hinges mid-aligned. I had to get a local joiner in to fix their wreckage. The owner returned the money for the assembly of the wardrobe but the receipt hadn’t fallen apart then. No damages were compensated for and the marks and dents I referred to above were dismissed as “small issues”.

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this company as I felt scared to approach them with problems. The aggressive admin guy set the precedent for the company culture so I’d steer clear.

Great experience from start to finish. All the lads who came worked really hard moving all of our stuff from one house to the other. Would recommend and use them again.

Working with Tigers Removals was a great experience. They responded so quickly to my inquiry on Removals Index. One of their guys came out to Harrogate from Hull on a Saturday to give us a quote. The quote was significantly lower than other removals companies in our local area; and it included them packing our things.

Everything went well the day of the move. A couple of the movers weren't so happy that the pack & move were schedule for just one day; especially since we had a lot of stairs in our old apartment. However, they got it done.

I definitely recommend Tigers Removals. 5 stars!
