It was terrible weather & torrential rain all day, yet these guys remained upbeat, friendly and more importantly did a great job!

Used Tiger during March to move us from Howden to Ellerker. They were very flexible and friendly. We had used them 3 years earlier and received an excellent service.

Unfortunately google only allows me to leave 1 star and not 0 stars. Booked this company to move out of a 3 bed semi and with the expressed agreement we had to have the house clear for 1pm. They only sent 1 van and 2 men when i had booked 2 vans and 4 men. The staff sent were very rude when I asked them about this and threatened to walk away. When i phoned the office to complain and ask where my 2nd van was the chap was very rude and swore at me, his name was Chris. After much arguing and after me requesting half my money back he begrudgingly sent another van. The staff were then rude to the buyers of my house as we were not clear in time. After the move I noticed damage to my wardrobes and black stains on the mattresses. and my late mums wedding jewelry was missing I have phoned the office 3 times to ask for a claim form and the owner is aggressive and rude. The theft is now in the matter of the police. I only wish i had done my research on this company, this isn't the first time they have been rude, broke things or items have disappeared. Be every careful when looking at tigers removals check their feedback on here and on facebook. AVOI

I am very happy with the services of this company to move furniture around York area. I have used their services twice and the second time they could accommodate my city to city move on short notice. On time, good costumer care and they are available on short notice. Definitely highly recommend them.

Before I launch into this assassination let me state that the actual poor "put upons" who do the moving are very good and work very hard.. When they get there..

This negative review centres around the people who supposedly manage this company.

My wife had already booked a move with them so I thought it wise to use the same one. Text to say they would be there 11:30am ish.
This came and went. The driver finally rang to say the "small job" had turned out bigger than expected and they would be there at 1pm. 1pm came and went. So I rang the main contact number and got to speak to "James". Customer service is lost on this guy and frankly he conducted himself like an "****". Couldn't understand when I stated that if I kept him waiting would cost me £15 an hour. Eventually they arrived at 3pm.
Just before they set off I thought I had better ask where they were going! "Our Hull storage..". Nope I told them. It was clearly communicated that I has chosen my own storage and this had been passed on. Would have been a long wait for them to arrive...

Cash only and no receipt. Read into that what you will.

You might think lightning cant strike twice! A few days later they were booked to move the wife's stuff. We'll be there 11 to 12am. This came and went. At 1pm she rang to see where they were. Oh, they will be there at 4:30pm! Got some lame excuse about another job running over. We don't care, we thought we had entered into a contract with them to move our goods at an agreed time, clearly not. After giving them grief another crew eventually arrived at 3:40pm.

My advice would be stay clear of this outfit.
