We have rented cars from Klass Wagen several times, and we were always satisfied. The cars are new, and in an excellent conditions, and we never had any problems. The staff are kind and helpful, and always share the informations what you need to know. I can only reccomend to Klass Wagen to anyone.

"Thieves, avoid at all cost"

Awful company, avoid at all cost! Don’t get fooled by their low headline prices, they specialise in ripping people off in every way they can (whether it’s their express check-in system tricking you into buying insurance you don’t want, their employees literally bullying you into buying insurance, or them trying to charge you for hairline scratches that clearly had been on the car before / that shouldn’t be part of damages). Dodgy facility, shady people, no proper lighting for evening pick-up, all-around awful service (rude and grumpy). Had to wait 30min for airport drop-off that made me almost miss my flight.
There’s plenty others in Budapest that I would highly recommend instead.

Would not book again, outrageous insurance quotes, booked in uk with extra full insurance, they not accepting anything unless is from them… very expensive… stay away

We had booked a car through Booking.com at what looked like a very good rate. We had pre-arranged Collision Damage Waiver cover as hire companies always charge over the top for this cover at the point of hire.

When we sat down to do the paperwork the guy dealing with us immediately took the decision that we were not going to get a car when we told him we had CDW cover already. He demanded a credit card statement showing my FULL name as my card only has my initial, this was despite having my passport and driving
licence showing full name and having the PIN number for my card.

Ironically, he would have accepted payment of the €150 CDW charge provided by them paying with same card. I had paid £11.50 for the same cover in UK to avoid paying this.

The guy was arrogant, unpleasant and rude.

We rearranged alternative hire through Budget and received a refund from Booking.com for the initial cost of Klass Wagen rental. Although we incurred extra cost due to one way drop off charges and transport to the city from the airport.

My advice is avoid this Company if you don't want to get ripped off or have a credit card statement with your full name in your pocket so you can shove it up their nose and pay the advertised price.

Even then, they make it clear you are expected to wash the car before return and they will scrutinise for any scratch over 2cm.
