"CloudBerry Lab - fast and flexible product"
Before I started with CloudBerry, i have been using CrashPlan for many years, however, they discontinued some backup plans recently which make me look for another cloud backup solution. I have tried several solutions, but out of all solutions, CloudBerry seems to suit most of my requirements. I wanted a flexible solution where I could choose the backup software and the cloud service.
CloudBerry desktop pro itself is easy to use, is very flexibel and has many usefull options. Compared to CrashPlan, CloudBerry seems to have a very small memory print which leaves more free memory fot day to day usage.
What I like:
- backup to whatever you want (Local backup, cloud backup, ...)
- image backup
- one time payment
- choice of cloud partner. I'm working with blackblaze B2
- low memory/cpu usage
What I don't like
- artifical storage limit of 5 TB. It may seems a lot of space, but I have more than 5TB to backup (lot of photo's and video's)

"easy to use"
easy to use, good support, well designed

"Great Backup program"
Great Backup program, easy to use work well on windows and linux, Pro version is worth the cost just for the compression feature.

"It is the ideal product for a Backup to …"
It is the ideal product for a Backup to an S3 (Bucket) Storage! I like the many settings such as compression when uploading.

"Incredibly hit & miss (But mostly miss)..."
Incredibly hit & miss
I have been using some of their products for some time now, and they are shockingly unreliable.
4 out of 5 times that I try to copy/move something to S3, their software just sits and does nothing. After trying again a few times, eventually it works.
I have been unable to find any common thread in the instances where it doesn't work.
I have tried it across different buckets, from different machines, copying and moving; it seems entirely random.
In conclusion, not a product worth spending time or money on.
Edit 1 - 21/12/2017:
I have now given up on their products entirely. I think the 1 in 5 success rate I had was a fluke, as it went down to 1 in 20 or so. It was easier for me to program scripts in AWS CLI to do what this program was meant to do then keep trying.
Edit 2 - 21/12/2017:
The reply Cloudberry asking me if I have opened a support case is hilarious, and one of the reasons they only get 1 star (But I forgot to add it in my original review. You can't ask them for support unless you're a paying customer (and I am glad I didn't waste my money on software that doesn't work). Instead they direct you to some generic forums for IT questions. this wouldn't be so bad if they had their own dedicated sub-forum, but since they don't, you're on your own...
Good luck with that...
(This is also why I've reduced this to a 1-star review)

"Complicated at first, but it works smoothly"
At first you have to learn how to use the software. But then you're protected. Really: CloudBerry protects your data and works seamlessly. And it doesn't cost that much.
