terrible went to the nottinghill store three sales person watched me and my boyfriend walk past them, I had to ask where the beds were they told me upstairs and then completely left me to it. I got my bed from here cause my last bed was from here and my uncle charlie used to own loaf, sadly though, standards have slipped and sales people in the shops are clearly not keen to help you at all

This is the final review in a string of (positive) reviews we’ve able to (happily) submit for our experience with Loaf. Our delivery of our sofa required the carrying in from our neighbour’s garden into the back of ours and the delivery team obliged with that and all other aspects of situating the item where we needed. So thank you very much for that! Our one post delivery niggles concerned covers for a chair’s seating and back cushions; after explaining the issues and submitting images Loaf provided us with a very efficient exchange of items for those that we felt met our expectations. Very polite communication. Excellent. Thank you very much!

I visited a shack last week in Shoreditch having seen a chair I liked on the 'clear out' page. I found this page by googling 'loaf outlet' as I didn't know if they had one and I was I was pleased to find this great array of ex-display items. I loved the shindig chair but wanted to try out something similar before buying to know what it might feel like, so off I went. Thus began a very weird time.

When I arrived, I showed the Loaf employee the chair I like and asked if she had anything similar I could try. She said they didn't stock that chair based on the picture but asked me to read out the name so she could check for similar items etc. When I did, she said she couldn't find the item on the Loaf system - in fact she couldn't even find the page it was on. I sent her the page right then and there and she opened it but said she had no idea what it was, it had nothing to do with Loaf and she couldn't help me. She suggested I call customer services.

I did this, reading out the item number as suggested if there were any issues before purchase. The lady on the phone also said that the chair in question did not exist, and nor did the page. She suggested I had been hacked. I was SO confused by this point. The web page has an http://loaf beginning, it is literally part of the loaf domain. But she said not to buy it as whatever that website was, they would probably just take my money and nothing would be delivered. She wouldn't put me on to anyone else.

I chose to ignore her after consulting an IT person who said there was absolutely no way it wasn't part of the loaf legit website - I bought the chair and ten minutes ago it was delivered. I'm delighted with it! Well done Loaf! But what the merry hell is going on with their customer services/website/communications?!
