Standun is my go-to place for anything in wool clothing and accessories. The website it great and easy to use. The products offer a huge range of styles for men and women and I've bought many sweaters and blankets. The quality is top notch and the shipping is prompt.

"Where’s my item"

Item has been ordered over 2 weeks ago and we still have not received. Tracking not available and very little communication from the shop. We are no closer to getting our item and very disappointed and won’t return in the future.

We first visited Standun a few years ago and upon our return to Galway in August we were excited to return and check out all their beautiful wares.
This is a store that requires a bit of time to browse. Maybe go when the weather is not so great so that you don’t feel guilty for spending a long time in there.
I was attracted to the Aran section of the store where they have so many beautiful jumpers, cardigans, hats and scarfs, slippers (amongst other things) all made from merino sheep’s wool. Perfect for cold winter days.
The in-store tea shop is great addition to allow time out from browsing and also to chat with the staff who are so welcoming and engaging.
Upon our return to the UK I visited their website and ordered some more Aran products with an additional first time discount and free p&p!
I had a few questions about some items and Grainne was most helpful in responding to emails.
She dispatched the products that same day and they were with me a few days later.

Great service, great staff, great store 😁

I’m looking forward to visiting again when I next return to Galway.

I lost the belt for the hood of my llse Jacobsen raincoat.l contacted Standún's shop where I purchased it in the hope that I might be able to purchase a replacement. They did not have any in stock but said they would contact the supplier and try and source one. Thank you so much Gráinne I received it by post and without charge this morning. I'm so impressed with this fantastic customer service and visit if you are in the area! X

"My girlfriend and I bought 2 pullover…"

My girlfriend and I bought 2 pullover from Standun for 200€.
We really loved them. The wool had a very good quality and it was so pretty nice to wear it.
Unfortunatly, after only few weeks (3-5), my pullover had a hole on the ellbow. I'm working everyday on computer, that's right, but that is not normal, that a quality pullover had this kind of hole after only few weeks.
We decided then to contact them. First by sending an email to Standun at standun.com, then to contact at standun.com and finally directly on the website with the Chat fonction.
Our first contact about this problem was for 3 weeks now. STILL NO ANSWER FROM THEM.
I really feel bad with this kind of experience and will never forget it.
If Standun want to say something about it, feel free to contact us.
UPDATE: It's pity that we have to write this kind of experience to be listened. Standun finally contact us to inform us about a full refund. Thank you for this decision.
