They are an absolute disgrace. From start to finish and the cost to fix our balcony/planter box $7k. More fool me! Service was amateur. I had to get them back several times to fix things. Planter box bubbled and held water, needed ripping up again and waterproofing, Tiles were cut poorly, they covered up spitter pipe holes, inserted 2 new spitter pipes that were 10x larger than original and now is a bloody eye saw! They never arrived when said. Emails went unanswered. Finally the manager Graeme was involved who was rude and condescending and clearly does not give a hoot about the customer. All they want is money. And to top it off it’s still leaking. They even disagreed with the plumber they got out to do a dye test. Meagseal say it’s not leaking and their plumber says it is 🤷♀️. They are bullies who intimidate. If it’s not leaking then why am I getting yellow water dye (dye test plumber did) in a bucket under the leaks! This has been going on from Nov 2022 to now Dec 2023.

These guys are a disgrace. Phoned and emailed them re a job and get a response about a week later asking me to send photos and describe work required which I did. Another week later Zero response.

After having an inspection and assurance the job could be completed the grouters came around and started removing old grout when 2 tiles came loose . They stopped the job and said they would give us a quote to fix the issue . At $6,800 im not entertaining the idea so we are left with an unusable EnSuite . No one from the company returned calls , emails or text messages to discuss further , they ran . DO NOT USE MEGASHEILD PERTH , GRADE A AMATURES.

I was delighted with megasealed. They always came when they said they would which when your having a retiling and leak proofing is about 5 visits. Clean, respectful and i couldnt be happier witht the result. I'm in in the Sutherland shire and they were the cheapest quote. So I would definately recommend them.

"Work failed, roof still leaks, won't refund money."
We hired Megasealed to seal our upstairs courtyard. Their work failed four times, and the roof is still leaking. they have not given us our money back, and will not even do us the basic courtesy of responding to my emails.

I never even got to having the requested work done as we never got that far.
I Emailed a quote request to Megasealed on Friday and got a missed call from their nearest "technician" at 1141 AM on the Sunday morning. He then sent me a Text and Email stating that he'd "arranged" an inspection at my Home for 0930 AM the next Day without consulting me to see if I was available. I texted and Emailed him back saying that I wasn't available as he hadn't given me any notice to arrange the appointment. Then I didn't hear from anything from him at all. Nothing. I sent him a Text Today asking if he could come out later this week to do a quote on the work. The reply I got was SIC "sorry tried yesterday and get back after 1 pm to book quotes. Good luck with it". He didn't call back after 1 pm as stated and is now ignoring me. Absolutely pathetic service. Their loss, as I've got a competitor to do the work. If this is the way they do business, I'd rather have the leaking balcony. The guy in question has no idea about how to deal with Customers, assumed I'd jump through hoops for the appointment he'd "arranged" and then got all precious because I didn't reply to his non-existent follow-up call. Do yourselves a favour and use anyone but these Clowns.

"We used Megasealed company located in Brisbane"
We used Megasealed company located in Brisbane a few times over number of years. They sealed our two bathrooms and gave us a 10 years warranty. But, they warranty worth nothing! 3-5 years after the service we noted that bathrooms start to leak again. Called Megasealed and their technicians gave us ridiculous excuses to void the warranty: he blamed wall tiles, 'incorrectly' installed shower screens and other irrelevant things which under his opinion contributing to new leak. And of course, straight away they gave us new quote to fix it. We followed this trick twice, received two 10 years warranties and guess what.. Bathroom is still leaking and Megaseald refuse to rectify under their warranty. Stay away from this doggy company... they promises and warranty are rubbish..

"Will not use again"
We recently engaged Megaseal Melbourne Central to fix one of our showers.
We selected Megaseal over a number of other quotes for a single reason: Their assessor identified that simple sealing would not be sufficient and that additional epoxy sealing of the drain would be required. Others did not identify this. Their assessor seemed highly competent and even with laypersons’ eyes it was obvious that he was correct when being shown the right spot. Other companies had simply not bothered to disassemble the drain. We selected Megaseal even though they gave the most expensive quote since the quote included these works.
A while later works were executed and the invoice was sent. When I checked the works it turned out that the sealing of the drain had not been completed. No mention of this was made. When I complained about this to Megaseal they stated they could no execute these works “since we are not plumbers”. Why then quote on it??? Still, the full quote price (including this item) was invoiced.
After a lot of back and forth, we came to an agreement to lower the price and have the drain sealing done in different ways. I ended up doing this as a DIY job (which were very simple). In essence, the assessor (Jay) was competent. However, it turns out that the people performing the repairs and the assessors are different and they performed a simple run-of-the-mill surface shower seal without giving any thought to the scope of works in the quote.
The important part is: had we simply paid and started to use the shower again, we would have damaged the just-repaired floor of the bathroom again as the true cause of the problem had not been fixed.
Communications with the director (Monique) were also somewhat disjointed and unreliable.
Lesson learned: next time we will not engage a shower-sealing franchise but rather a proper plumbing company that also offers shower fixing.
We will not use Megaseal again.
