I love the creative hub of Me.reka Workspace community. Aside from freelancing knowledge and productivity tools, I enjoy meeting more and more like-minded people who reaffirms me what I am capable of and build my confidence when communicating with others on trials and errors.
I appreciate the Me.reka team members are striving to improve and learn how to lead us at the same time too. For instance, the WhatsApp contact has updated an automated message recently. It was frustrating when people are suffering from financial worries and struggling moments, nonetheless, we always can see hope in humanity. Thank you for paying all the efforts together in succeeding this programme and educating the generations.

This is my first Digital Enterpreneur Programme Course and I loved it explicitly.
It's a wonderful learning experience with the concepts and the applications of digital marketing. As a experienced marketing/sales people, this course is really useful to refresh what I learned/did before and give me some ideas about what I am going to implement in the future.

I aimed to gain experience and knowledge in the gig industry with expert talent in various fields through Mereka Academy. Firstly, I see the gig economy as interesting and expanding these days.

What attracted me to the gig economy?

1) Flexibility
2) Work-life balance
3) International work opportunities

From these initiatives, I am joining a program under Mereka Digital Entrepreneurship for 8 weeks placement.

The program helped me find a new connection from various fields with the same mindset. The trainer and modules are so informative and helped me to improve my future career plan.

The modules include Intro to Gig work platform, Managing Your First Client, Personal Finance, Personal Branding, all the quizzes and 2 weeks of Project Placement (Mock Assignment) helps me to upskill and reskilling new skills to become a digital star in the future! As I love discovering something new, this program helps me a lot to make an improvement. They also provide mentorship initiatives a year after project placement.

I believe this is a journey where anyone who plans to do freelancing should start with. Although haven't secure any projects so far, yet I am in the middle of few project discussions and to call for contract binds. Wish me luck in my journey.
