The Pros: The cost is very reasonable and the gentleman that came to do our pick up were incredibly nice and efficient. That part of the experience was fantastic and it is a great service for the money.

The Cons: When we made our initial appointment with NEXTCUT, we were told it would be about two weeks before they would be in our area - not a problem - and that the would call the Friday before (our appointment was Monday) to give us a better sense of what time they would be in the area. We did not get that call; rather we called them to confirm and get the time (which was to be mid-morning). Great. Morning of, we do get a call saying they are running behind due to an issue with the shredder and will call us in the afternoon to let us know when they think they will be in the area. They do not call back. We call around 4pm and are told that basically the truck is out of commission and we'll have to reschedule; we're told we'll get a call the following day to set up a new date and time. No problem. Except we never got that call either. Once again, we called them and were then able to make the appropriate arrangements. They did come the second time at the date and time scheduled and were very quick and friendly. But the number of times they were supposed to call - and frankly SHOULD have called us - and we had to call them instead was not optimal.

Although there were some mix-ups involved with scheduling (which really would make my rating 4.5, but that was not an option), in the end we were able to work out a day and time, and I was able to have many boxes of sensitive files that were outdated shredded right on site. Sheena, in the office, was extremely helpful after she realized that someone else had mixed up the schedule. Once she worked with me, the schedule was set up, and everything happened as planned. The two men who provided the on-site shredding service were pleasant, professional, and very efficient. The whole process only took about 30 or 40 minutes and was priced very reasonably. I would definitely use the service again and recommend it to others.

The guys got the job done with a minimum of muss or fuss, made some suggestions about how we could do it more efficiently, and were a pleasure to work with, particularly John. I will want them on my next job.
