"Good work order app."

We transitioned from not doing work orders at all right into doforms mobile. The app works great for our needs. I think there needs to be more of a tutorial on the mobile side of the process. It works well on Android phones but we have one person with an iPhone and he doesn't get alerts most of the time and if he has multiple work orders they dont sort as well as the android.

I have been using doForms for about a year. All in all it is the best of 5-6 form builders I have tried. I am able to build complex forms and find their strategy of using Excel for reporting to be very functional. However, their tech support is not very supportive. They don't seem to encourage any forums or a community of users. Their user manual is improving but not very intuitive.

It works for our 6 techs in the field but clearly isn't a finished product. The login server is very slow, in fact the entire website is slow to access. Having to constantly select the same settings every time I log in (multiple times a day) just so I can get to the dispatch page is annoying. Having to log in so often when I never logged off is also annoying. This isn't national security or banking....let THE CLIENT choose whether or not we want to keep their account logged in.

Overall it works well enough that I haven't bothered to find something else (yet), but it's far from perfect and annoys me daily.

I have been working with the doForms team for over a year and a half now to create, update, and manage the doForms that our service technicians use to submit data about the jobs they are completing out in the field. doForms is a very feature rich application that allows us a lot of flexibility and options for designing our mobile data collection system. As a result, sometimes things don't always work the way we expect them to. Although their overseas support help leaves a lot to be desired, I have found that when we needed immediate assistance the CEO himself is very responsive. The web app for developing forms is generally easy to use after some initial training to understand how some of the features work. The website is also relatively easy to navigate although we do find that the refresh/response time can be really slow and the amount of data that can be accessed at one time is limited to one day because of the number of questions in our forms. I also really wish there was a way to run reports that could be exported to excel from the website, but you have to purchase a separate license for their Synch & Save program to do that, which we did. So although I don't think doForms is perfect, they are a really great company with a great product and management and employees who obviously care about the service they provide and who will work with you to make sure your forms are working the way they should.

We have found that do Forms has increased our rate of reporting while at the same time decreasing the amount of paperwork. We can do reports and they are visible for those that need to see them.
The only thing that I would like to see is that sometimes in order to rebuild a form, you have to save it several times. But as we use it, it does get easier to navigate

Product is great. It is a pain in the a$$ that every change to every form creates another version. We ended up with several versions of several forms at the same time. We use an interface with HACHWIMS, Each form has to be added as a service, and the "retired" versions need to be moved to a project that I called "old" so we would not lose the data.

If a mobile user is in a weak cell spot, the new updated form might not show up, they enter data on the wrong form, can make a mess.
