"On-line quote didn't work for me"

My on-line quote apparently reflected something that the algorithm didn't account for. It took several days to get any type of response from customer service, then more to get a revised quote. The revised price was not even close to what was originally quoted. Very frustrating and set my project back. I only ordered one out of five items to give the rest of the process a try, and that seems to have arrived as ordered.

We are re-engineering and re-producing one-off Niche' classic automobile parts, and cannot spend a lot on quantity. Thanks to the X for reasonable pricing!
The three areas of 3D challenges still prevail- yet are getting closer to reality every day!
1. A programmer must still develop STL files. Sounds like a no-brainer or stupid observation. Hold on Sire! How about a scan app! Looming soon!
2. Surface Quality. Ok, OK! I'll order cast urethane next time! not "mud-dobber wasp organic" Remember, Nature did this first. My best friend is a WASP.
3. Color- not yet you local automotive paint store capabilities- yet SOON!
4. Material strength- Anyone want to compete with a carbon fiber bow and arrow? You get what you pay for! I like these guys!

Xometry was able to help me recover part files that I had lost a long time ago thanks to their great order and part history tools. The ability to upload native Solidworks files is great. Print quality has been good every time.

The reason I gave 4 and not 5 stars is that they shipped me a part that did not render properly which caused my schedule to slip more than desired which I felt was poor QC. The customer service was great however as well as tech support as the part I had printed was a bit challenging because it contains very small features. When printing 3D parts however, I think they should required a dimensional drawing so they can verify they printed what you want, apparent they don't get this from the .stl file.
