Been a Chef for many years and I refuse to get any of my knives or kit from anywhere else than the Soho branch of JKC. The selection of knives is second to none. I could quite literally live there. The guys in the shop are brilliant with their knowledge and advice. Whether it's selecting a new knife for work, home or sharpening techniques. Honestly I can't thank you all enough for your service over the past few years for helping me out with my knives. They're all blinding. Good work chaps.

"Excellent knife sharpening course"

I had a knife sharpening course with Maulik. First of all, let me say he makes you feel totally at ease. He teaches from the basics to the complex, but nothing was overwhelming. He takes his time to demonstrate and allows you to follow suit. Correcting your mistakes as you go along. I really enjoyed my time with him being shown how to sharpen the knives how to get the best edge. I would recommend this class to anyone who buys a knife from him or anyone who’s got some knives that they feel they feel need sharpening. I shall probably book a follow up as I get to grips with my sharpening.

"Broken knife"

The knife arrived with the tip of the blade broken off and the packaging was ripped and dirty. I contacted the provided customer service email address hoping for a replacement or refund and never heard back. Very frustrating and disappointing experience.
