"Staff stole item left on the bus ****"
Left a valuable item on the bus. Called the lost + found number an hour I got off the bus and reported it missing with exact description and location. Received an email stating item was not found. Called them back and asked to check with driver and cleaning crew as I know exactly where and when it was left. Manager, Joe, was rude and said nothing he could do. Obviously, someone on their staff walked away with item and never reported it found.

"noisy tonight"
I have used vamoose from bethesda to nyc for 10+ tears with excellent service. Tonight i am on the bus with the first bad experience
Left on time and driver is good so far but he made no announcement at the start re keeping conversations to a minimum. There is a couple in back of me who have talked almost the whole time. My friend even told them to be wuirt and they continued. The driver did not say anything. Also my seat does not recline and wifi not working

Vamoos has turn from best to worst in a few months, I ttok the bus back to Virginia on June 26 at 10:30 AM and the driver drove around NY and went on 15 street to the Javis Convention center to get all the passangers out of the bus, no one gave us an explanation, after waiting for more than one hour we rode a crappy bus not a Vamoos line, The seats were very uncomfortable and the bus not suited for the long trip. The bus arrived to Rosselyn, Arlington at 5:30 PM. After making several unschedule stops, even to drop off one of the drivers. This is the worst trip I had in Vamoos, I called for an explenation and the operator said that the bus toilet was not working which was a lie because I had used it before we departed and it was operating properly.

I travel to and from NY/Arlington a great deal, to see my daughter and baby grandchildren. Tonight I really screwed up setting up a series of reservations for the summer. I couldn't figure out how to undo what I had done, so I called, and Arlene answered. She did it all. Made my reservations for me, let me use some of my points to pay for my trips, and sent immediate cancellation notices and reservation notifications via email. They were there even before I got off the phone. Thank you, Arlene. And thank you, Vamoose. You are one of the easiest, most customer friendly transportation service I know.

"Would not recommend ever"
I took these buses round trip from DC to New York. Drivers, the sidewalk helpers and bag people were all just so rude. I know you are rushed but you can say what you need to say nicely. I’m a bus driver for a living and I understand the rush and needing people to get on in a timely manner and that you kind of have to herd people but seriously that is no excuse to forget your customer service manners. Also there was “WiFi” but when I connected to it, I couldn’t even load a simple google search. Didn’t work on either bus I took ever on the 5 hour bus ride. The chargers weren’t good either. On one bus the plug wasn’t even connected to anything but a few wires and the cord would fall out all the time and on another bus the plug worked for an hour and then wouldn’t produce a charge for the rest of the trip. Would not take this bus company again.

On August 14, 2017 I took vamoose from NY city at 2:30 and arrived to Arlington, VA at around 7:15. I was very satisfied with the whole experience. The driver ( Paul: ex marine ) did an excellent job trough out the whole trip.

"Incompetent driver!!!"
Female driver on 7/7/17 at the 5:10 PM departure from NYC to Bethesda was incompetent. Took a 20 minute restroom stop (despite there being a restroom on the bus) thus delaying the arrival. Pulled over TWICE on the highway to attempt to figure out how to turn off the aisle lights--mind you not a single passenger cared about the lights being on. That was another 10+ minute delay. A total of 30+ minute delay. The second time she pulled over, she did NOT appear to use hazard lights despite it being night time. Also, it was uncomfortably warm in the bus.

"Broken dirty bus, awful customer service"
I paid three times more for the "gold bus." When I got on, the bus was a mess - it clearly had not been cleaned. Then, a little while into the trip, the bus makes a stop on the side of the road for a minute - unexplained - and then we keep going. A little while later, we make a second stop. We are told the bus is broken. So we sit on the side of the road for 20 minutes, waiting, we are told, for the next two or three buses to come down and pick us up. After some time the bus continues on, and we ultimately make it to our destination (notwithstanding additional trouble getting the bus into gear after the Bethesda stop).
The real kicker, though, is rather than respond to my complaint and request for a refund, I am told that the bus made the journey within the scheduled time, and thus no refund would be given. How's that for customer service? Completely unresponsive to the fact that their "premium" dirty bus broke down.
Vamoose can vamoose out of my future!
